Just an update...I sold this car last year, and I am now driving a 2011 FX2 F150. Car is now in Wisconsin.

When it left Alabama, I had removed the FRPP Stingers and ARH Hpipe, and installed MAC exhaust and MAC prochamber. Less popping, cracking, and trumpeting. Had a deeper note, but still just as loud.

@Grouchy281 I did, and it didn't help the trumpeting much. I decided to add the pro chamber, and it made the tone deeper, and took away the trumpeting.

I would keep it the way you have it now. You would probably quiten it down too much with both the pro chamber and hi flow cats.

It is the FRPP exhaust that has the catalog number ending in '5GT'.

I don't have any part numbers. I got in on an early group buy. Just call American Racing Headers, and they'll give it to you. The mufflers are the Ford Racing Stingers. I believe they are M-5230-5GT.

@sportmike24 yes they are, only if you have emissions testing, if you don't than who gives a shit, you may pass the smog test with LT headers but if there is a visual and they don't see the C.A.R.B # you won't pass emissions

Thanks. I have a KB 2.6H installed now, and some custom grind cams that I haven't installed yet. The Comp Thumper probably sounds better than the custom grinds I have, but wouldn't give as much power.

I installed the MAC axlebacks today! If you think this setup sounds good, then just wait till I find my firewire for my video camera. The MACs make the car sound deep and loud like the setup in this vid, but without the trumpeting!

I swapped the o/r H for an o/r Prochamber today. It got rid of some of the sounds that I didn't like, but kept the aggressive traits of the FRPP Stingers. New vid to come soon.

No, the tune I've got turns off the rear O2 sensors, so therefore no CEL.

Sure. You can order just the headers, but you may have trouble getting the mid pipe that you have to fit. No big deal though...you could just get a muffler shop to weld in whatever mid pipe you have. I had to have my Mac Prochamber welded in today.

FRPP Stinger is Ford Racing's mufflers. They are the same muffler as Borla's Stinger. Except they have the Ford Racing emblem on the chrome tips instead of the Borla emblem. Also, they are cheaper.

About 17mpg city/28mpg highway depending on how I drive of course. This spring I will make a new vid with the supercharger. It's a tad bit louder and deeper now.

No, the LT install wasn't cheap, but I wasn't about to try it myself. I've installed some of the easy 1/2 to 1 hour mods, but that would have taken me all day and a couple of rage moments.

It didn't feel sluggish, but I also had 4.10 gears, pulleys, delete plates, and a lightweight 1 pc driveshaft installed at the same time. I never did have it dynoed with that setup.

I had it dynoed before with only a CAI and the axlebacks. Then it was dynoed when the supercharger went on.

I never did with a stopwatch, but definately felt quicker 0-60.

Fuel economy was and is about 17mpg city/28mpg highway. The 4.10's might have affected the mpg by 1 or 2 depending on how I drive.

I can tell that you are very smooth with the clutch, you didnt even chrip the gears when you got on it a little bit. nice car!

I was slipping the clutch a little to keep from spinning except in the "interior shot". I spun really bad on the 1-2 shift. Those tires were a real hard compound and it would take a NHRA burnout to get them to squeal.

I was running Nexxen 3000. They were cheap and came mounted on the Bullitt wheels I had. I have changed to Nitto 555R since I added the supercharger.

Yeah, the LT's are a must. There is just no way around it. In my opinion, sound best with O/R pipe.

Wheels are 18x9. I went cheap on the tires. They came with the wheels from AFS Wheels. Nexen 3000 255/45/18 front and back. They are a very hard compound tire, but have very little road noise. Absolutely NO traction. When I do the drive by and punch it...my tires never get traction, but you can't tell it in the video. The hard compound would only smoke when I did a standing burnout.

Sorry, they will not fit on your 01 Cobra. You will need to call Borla and see what the part number for an 01 model is, but make sure you ask for a Borla Stinger. It's a straight thru off-road muffler.

I watched an episode of Pinks tonight. They had a run what ya brung heads up shootout. As could be expected, a Mustang took it! I heard from someone that Pinks is coming to Steele in August or September. Didn't find it on their web site though.

Heck yeah. I'm there to watch. You know the bolt that was hitting my pullie. I called Steeda, and come to find out they sent a replacement for that bolt to shorten it. I'm finding more and more things that my installer did wrong. It's the little things that count in my opinion. They just didn't deliver. When I go with the Kenne Bell, I will definately be going to Modular Powerhouse in Marrietta.
