So glad to be back playing WAR! I only had to read below to be reminded why I left WoW. I don't understand why people feel the need to come here and knock Warhammer even though most have probably never even logged into the game. The new end game city siege is pretty amazing. I've tried quite a few games and this is the only one that truly pulls me in.

Lol this game is flawed. The reason why WoW became so popular was because of their leveling system and decent PvE endgame, which this game sorely lacks in both regards. While WoWs questing wasnt perfect, it was nearly as awful as the repetetive bullshit you'll find in Warhammer.

I don't understand why people get so upset about WoW and WAR. Even if the idea of Warcraft originated from warhammer, the stories went in completely different directions. Take orcs for example. Warhammer orcs pretty much love and live for fighting, while Warcraft orcs were bred for fighting by some chaos guy, broke away from him, and are trying live out in peace and only fight because they have to. So yes they may originate from warhammer but they are very different.

I play both wow and war .. wow was better ages ago when it 1st came out but since they started BC n WOTLK, wow has become a boring game and u cant feel the diff between classes, because mainly all of them do the same damage and the same dps but with diff spells and ability .. i just started playing war and that game showed awesomeness in it :P .

@Aracoin It was up to about 12 million around 2-3 months after the release of WotLK . To say that its been cut by more than 50% would make no sense, though im sure its no longer at 12 million, its still around 8-10 . I ended up buying another month of WAR and am enjoying it, hoping it doesnt die like WoW did for me, noticed there are about 20+ servers that were deleted, so thats probably why it seems more populated ( all the ppl playing those where moved to the swame servers ) . I'm looking into an MMO. From what i have learnt, WAR has been around alot longer than WoW.. lore based that is.
Many ideas from WAR were taken by WoW for their game. WoW seems to have alot more players and things to do.. but this is because it has been an online game for a longer period of time.
But after seeing the difference in graphics and how more "real" WAR looks.. and the fact there are kids like you playing WoW.
the difference between using WAR flight masters and WoW flight masters is that in WAR you dont waste 5-12 minutes of your life to get where you want to go. WAR flightmasters > WoW flightmasters

I played this game in closed beta and got it when it came out almost a year ago.. and then played it for a month. The game sucks, they did a horrible job with exploration and character uniqueness. All throughout the game there is just a rail you follow while grinding..armor and weapons all has class types which means no special builds or such..the itemization in this game was just really bad and so was the community but than again that was a year ago so I hope it's changed.
I've played war for 1 year now (since release date) i play my chosen most and a lot of people complain about war. but i like it and give it 1 moe year it will be a really really great game

@playerskill95, hate to burst your WoW bubble but Warcraft alone is a complete ripoff of warhammer. Why would i say this you might ask? Well before Warcraft was invented blizzard attempted to acquire the license for Warhammer when looking to develop their game. Once denied they made warcraft a cheap ripoff of warhammer starting with orcs and humans. Don't believe me, go do some research on google i bet those details are still flowing on the web. My prime was in those years so prove me wrong.

Blizzard created Warcraft is the early 90's it had nothing too do with warhammer, and they never wanted to aquire a licence so they could make Warhammer. Maybe you need too do some research of your own. Theres nothing in the wiki that says that, nor is their any official information stating that.

@hellmagefire i used to play wow few months after launch never had any high level chars but the game was fun tbc wasnt bad not as good as original and wotlk is horriable okay they added new graphics only for the wotlk areas new raids all you do when u hit max is raid bg raid bg raid bg farm omg so much fun ohh wait i forgot level new toon hit max with him gear raid bg woot ohh okay new toon yahhhhhh i do give it though wow is very fun and addicting for awhile just boring after awhile at end game

@hellmagefire lol dude blizzard hasnt had 10 million customers in i think over 2-3 years its down to like 5-7 mil thats still alot but lots of people are still quiting its a good game but they make armour that looks like it was made by 4 year olds to easy to level it was nice but got annoying not really any end game content okay there is but it gets boring how about this nothing other then raiding farming and bg i play both of them off and on war has faults 2 so im not on one side or the other

@Aracoin It was up to about 12 million around 2-3 months after the release of WotLK . To say that its been cut by more than 50% would make no sense, though im sure its no longer at 12 million, its still around 8-10 . I ended up buying another month of WAR and am enjoying it, hoping it doesnt die like WoW did for me, noticed there are about 20+ servers that were deleted, so thats probably why it seems more populated ( all the ppl playing those where moved to the swame servers ) . yea, theres only about 8 servers???? its been a while since Ive played because my gay laptop cant handle the game too well (ATI's fault for shitty ass driver support, ill gives you a hint, THERE WAS NONE) tier 1 and 2 are packed, thats about as far as i got before the problems made me quit. Neeeds me a stronger computer to play.

I'm looking into an MMO. From what i have learnt, WAR has been around alot longer than WoW.. lore based that is.
Many ideas from WAR were taken by WoW for their game. WoW seems to have alot more players and things to do.. but this is because it has been an online game for a longer period of time.
But after seeing the difference in graphics and how more "real" WAR looks.. and the fact there are kids like you playing WoW.
My mind has settled, thankyou for helping!

I played this game in closed beta and got it when it came out almost a year ago.. and then played it for a month. The game sucks, they did a horrible job with exploration and character uniqueness. All throughout the game there is just a rail you follow while grinding..armor and weapons all has class types which means no special builds or such..the itemization in this game was just really bad and so was the community but than again that was a year ago so I hope it's changed.
