When i hear ""bad singers"" (not that i think this guy was particularly bad) it helps me feel less self conscious, so therefore its better. and I also respect it .
Mac Powell (the lead singer of Third Day) has an awesome voice that is truly a magnificent gift from God. What you are hearing that sounds bad to you is the poor sound quality of a bootleg video taken at one of their concerts and mixed with all the voices in the audience singing along and worshiping. I wish Third Day would put out an official video for this song.
Anyway, I was duly chastened more than a month ago when this discussion went on. I never said anything more because I had learned my lesson from this pure-hearted worshipper of God.
Why record the band if when you watch it all you'll hear is yourself? Kind of defeats the purpose. You can let it lead you into worship innumerable times if YOU aren't the center of the noise, which is what worship is all about - listening and centering on God not self. Looking out for others before yourself is also high on the list of what it means to worship.
The guy holding the camara can't sing in key; wish he's shut up so we could hear the band and the audience as a whole. Cameramen of the world: shut up (unless you can sing in key and quieter).

Amen! I don't care if you can sing, because God doesn't care if you can sing. It's all about the heart, and, personally, I'd be worried if you wern't singing. Third Day is too great not to worship with.

Did he post it on YouTube so we could hear him? Do they even allow for videos made of their performances? If not, I'm reporting this as a copyright violation.
@willibear7 You make the assumption that you've set me right, or at even right to begin with in order to do so.As for growing up, growing up is an excruciatingly difficult goal since it runs contrary to the most central laws of nature - change and renewal - yet a goal miraculously attained by everyone in our culture except for a few misfits. "Grow up" does not out reason me. All of these rebukes coming at me, and all I wanted was a video where the band could be heard.
