It is the fastest non-maglev commercial passenger trains service eventhough the french TGV short train peaked higher. Including the stopping times, it is easily the fastest passenger train service.

However, it is passenger satisfaction that counts in the end. Is it cheap enough and speedy enough and reliable enough and not let passengers getting stranded.
