I can't support a group that doesn't have a clear cut objective, if feminism is for equality, how come feminist never fight for mens rights? how come most of their statistics are false? How come so many non radicals still support the radical feminist non profit agencies? I just can't seem to get it, so I refuse my involvement.
I believe in equality in legal and property rights, equal pay, equal oppertunity and respecting women but im NOT a feminist and I believe that the movement has outlived its purpose in societies were the basic egalitarian principles have already been reached. @Corzizzle we are campaigning for equality there. About 4 months ago (in the UK) we were happy to see a law being passed which gave fathers more flexibility with paternity leave, but we still don't think that's a big enough step and think equality within the family needs to emphasised more.

@Corzizzle we are campaigning for equality there. About 4 months ago (in the UK) we were happy to see a law being passed which gave fathers more flexibility with paternity leave, but we still don't think that's a big enough step and think equality within the family needs to emphasised more.

I know it's hard to give in to such a concept, and yes feminism does still mainly focus on women (because they still have the stereotypical connotations of being much weaker than men), but feminism is about equality for men as well as women.

Even women who have been abused are somewhat confused about their rights after the fact, and the same goes for men who are abused by women. As an aside- Anyone that thinks males are the instigators of approx' 90% of domestic altercations, is reporting from a tee-pee on the cusp of reality, somewhere out of radio range, with shell-shells for glasses and tampons jammed in both ears. Forget research. The proportion of males who as a personal experience, honestly witness such a ratio would be the ultimate aberrations. It's completely rancid lying and misinformation.

Granted, some sectors of feminism are out to accomplish nothing. And granted there is rhetoric being presented here. But, of course, rhetoric comes from both camps and seems to be the standard discussion style lately---from BOTH sides. Also, there are plenty feminists who transcend the type of male stereotyping anti-feminists complain about, and ironically, Katz is promoting discarding those very stereotypes, and giving us males an option to not have to be patriarchally oriented.

Katz is about as sharp as a wooden spoon. Katz is a hideous example for any male to aspire to. Frankly, I don't give a fuck what feminists complain about. Why would that be? Those only so much bullshit that can clog the airwaves before it's white noise. And that's what most feminism is. Whining to overthrow the noise to signal ratio, and to disrupt civil and sane discourse about who is disadvantaged, and who needs/deserves assistance.
