Wow how much I love the finale you do with the percussion, so many different sounds and a reverb (did you put some effect or was it just the room?), perfect feeling among us..

I know, noone dared to write anything here since that sad December 2nd, but don't worry, he is up in the sky, reading our minds, he sees all and is smiling.

There was some reverb in the mic. I didn't add any more in post-production. The percussions were not too distant from the mic (even if the mic set up was originally intended for vocals - not rehearsing anything else with that reverb ... neither fingersnaps on the MJ one ^_^ ... it simply worked well with evertything !). Half mic reverb half natural room reverb ;-)

I agree with your last lines, I can almost see him smiling thinking of 3 'crazy' fans covering Pyramania with such feeling ^_^

Yes, a rare case where Eric's irony came out fully... Now that he's completing the discarded APP songs, I think this one may have too been discarded by Alan being not serious. But it's the only one sticking to the original album concept: people's mania in 70s about mysticism, especially pyramids. Interestingly the song served well as model for "Funny You Should Say That", the masterpiece in Freudiana about interpretation of dreams, and for the serious "The Bells" in Eric's "Poe, more Tales".

Re: requests. As for my case, I'm sorry I don't accept them anymore. I have a list of requests waiting from long, so it would be absurd promising more if I can't find the time for the 1st ones. I barely find the time for videos from my ideas - on my channel I uploaded 10 in 2 years. YT is just one of the things in my life. If you like APP tribute bands, first check what's online. I uploaded various (feedback is welcome), and just updated the playlist about APP covers which I announced above.

Thanx! The sound is better respect our other APP cover videos so far, because I added the bass which I do in split keyb with left hand. Sadly we are a little band, but we discovered that with a "drum", bass, piano, ac. guit and voice (plus some isolated orchestral sound on 2nd keyb) we recreated the key elements of the Project sound, though it has complex arrangements. Particularly interesting for me was discovering the importance of the ac. guitar.. now I see why Alan plays it so much live.

Yeah Lionel. And though that, an error-free performance of the entire song came out! It must be, as Dan said, because it has been so the fun. I must say, he has been precious, without his accompaniment I couldn't do the synth tuba solo. His guitar, with sus chords, is so fundamental to the Project sound here.

And I sing many APP songs, but this is a bit difficult.. the words are too fast too pronunce haha... Alec can (and I think he drank much water after this haha).
