Belive it or not Free energy is real,But the Big corporations spend millions to ensure that information does not spread to the masses,Go to LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM and get the blueprints for a genuine magnet motor ,Let the revolution begin!
24 years ago I built something similar using plywood, redwood 4 by 4, support wires for a bike stand and 4 car windshield motors mounted underneath the bike cargo carrier and my 10 speed bike. Used 2 short round pieces of wood from a dowel rod for drive wheels. I could charge a dead car battery in 20 min enough to start my van. 2 min pedaling got 5 min of TV watching time.
it's not going to be very efficient as you're pedaling on a scooter your expending energy to moving forward but when you place a generator while moving forward to are now changing where the energy from the linear motion goes into spinning the generator. once you divert your energy from motion into the generator your scooter starts to slow down thus also slowing down the rpms on your generator. you speed will decrease exponentially so putting a generator will cost you more energy than not
Its called regenerative braking and it is a very good idea. My electric truck has it, without it, I probably would not be able to stop it with the brakes alone.
So charge your battery when you press the brake, take the brake off and use the generator as your brake...
he was talking about a generator being connected to the wheel of his scooter and as this wheel spins it would in turn spin his generator producing energy for the car on a side note this is not regenerative breaking regenerative breaking is when the kinetic energy is recaptured during the period of slowing down and as i explained above that is why the generators are not functioning while the car is in motion it would slow it down thats why they only work during slow downs
colins idea is a little off, but at least I'm steering him in the right direction... I know what regenerative braking is... If you look at my original reply I suggested diodes and a switch, so he could make a regenerative brake...
Just look at the posts and ask yourself whether you were being helpful or not?
as an engineer who is working on researching and designing alternative energy systems for vehicles, i believe my advice is very helpful. and as for the diodes i have no idea what you're getting at. they obviously convert ac into dc but what was the point of bringing that up?
It will be a DC motor on a scooter, the diodes are for when you apply the brake, switched into circuit so the motor can only regenerate power and not use it... probably not needed... anyway... go do something productive... Get your Joe Cell working and Pantone Pipe plugged in... Do you use a fuel vapourisor? Or just thinking about it ;)
looks like you need to go back to physics 101 look into alternators heres the gist alternators provide an AC current and the DIODES are what convert this electricity to DC power for the car this is a very simplified explanation the scooter and other small appliances use AC by the way so with a generator on the scooter which produces a DC current the diodes will be needed in order to convert this energy. look into diodes and their function looks like you're a little confused
and i actually am doing something productive might i remind you that im working on alternative fuel systems and by fuel vapourisor im not sure what that means i am guessing youre english and by vapourisor you mean "fuel vaporizer" i don't see how this pertains to this discussion because scooters use electricity as fuel not natural gas... so theres no need for a vaporizer on this scooter since theres no gasoline

12-14 Volts
6-7 Amps
75-80 Watts
About 50% Efficiency.................Bad.

i have a electric scooter and how do i get the generator to charge my battery when my wheel turns while riding if it is connected?
xmod4colin 3 years ago
I'm not sure... you may need some diodes and a switch? I'll have to check that out... I'm sure its easy...

I like the idea but have you tried powering a tv with it. that's what I've been trying to do. please help me

A TV? Propaganda Box! I certainly have not! I don't watch TV... ;)
I have altered the bike to power a Hydrogen Machine (waterboost)... It works rather well... Even little kids can make hydrogen by pedalling...
