  • one of the best surf fishing videos on Youtube

  • what is with the music? You don't like the sound of the surf?

  • @justgoingalong I just don't know?

  • 10' Rod with 17lb mono test. All on Clams.

  • What lb line and how tall is your rod

  • What were you using

  • @newenglandsjeep

you don't necessarily need a 10' +. In many cases, i prefer my 8' boat rods for convenience. Plus, I'd say hes doin' alright hah. but good advice

  • What were you using?

  • @FishOnFishing Clams All Day....

  • @ChrisOlesen5 nice

  • hi i am new in surfcasting and i need an advise i am planning to buy a surf casting rod how long it should be do recomend any brands ????

  • @kostas728 depends, do you want to plug, or fish bait?

  • @madfisherman96 fish bait

  • @kostas728 it depends on what ur willing to spend if you want to splurge a little you can search st croix, go to there website and get a 8-9ft heavy pole or even larger or smaller, it s your preference. If you are on a bit of a budget, a good ol ugly stick will get the job done

  • @kostas728

If you will be truly surf casting then get a 10' rod, NO SMALLER. And the other comment I seen was correct. If you are not worried about $ then go and get a st. Croix. However if that is your first rod then you will be forever disappointed in any other rod you ever use in the rest of your life here on earth :-) I have a 10' Birkley and a 11.6' St. Croix and the St. Croix is unbelievable! I would also fish bait for the first year. Then go to plugs. (give ya some experience)

  • We used clams all day.

  • wat bait did u use
