  • Thanks Netflix! I have been watching the episodes on my I-touch while snuggled in bed at night. Oh, how I love that series. I lived through those times!

  • I loved this show!!

  • Hey follow the show on twitter guys @TheWonderYears_

  • netflix these goodies baby

  • ONE OF BEST SHOWS EVER MADE. They still play re-runs on this channel called "Hub" at random times. Sometimes anywhere from 10 PM to 12 AM.

  • @OldSkool90sisAllThat Yes! The Hub I love that station the play all the old shows...

  • i wuz born in the late 90s but i always like the 60th and 80th for some reason

  • it is, check it out on IMBD its not Daniel Stern

  • Different Voice Over Actor playing Kevin in the Pilot!!! weird

  • @JESSEWOLF1 ??? no it isn't

  • @JESSEWOLF1 Yes! you can tell a little bit....

  • Please make a reunion movie. Oh please, please.

  • stupid hippies

  • @gopconservative78 I'm a hippie you FOOL !!!

  • i used to grow up, too, i gave that shit up years ago.

  • You used to grow up in the 80's ? When do you grow up now?

  • special TV serie \o/ !!! soooo good!

  • Already the intro is totally neat. And my sister and I think Paul is too cute :P

  • I have the answer to why this is not on DVD, its because of the copyright music in this show, beatles, jon crocker and so much more. that is the reason :)

  • Karen (the sister) was the unforgettable Miss Anna Montegomery in the disney film "The Big Green" which is one of my favorites and holds a special place in my heart.....as cheesy as that sounds lol....movies of the 90s had alotta heart, emotion and love and The Big Green touches me everytime i watch it

  • Winnie was so adorably cute!!! i loved her and Kevin's on and off relationship drama through the seasons. God, how the hell is 7th Heaven and Friends gonna get ALL their seasons released on DVD and not this show???? i'm hella mad! i need this show back in my house!

  • It's very disturbing that this show came out in 1988 and was about 1968...."20 years ago" seemed SO LONG AGO to me as a kid back then. I am the same age as Fred Savage and was like 12. Now it's 2011, I'm in my mid 30s and 20-23 years ago doesn't feel as long ago as it did when I was 12. Scary. It makes me wonder with awe that kids today would view say 1991 the way I viewed the 60s and early 70s back then.

  • i remeber fred savage from the lmn movie with candace cameron lool i was watching this on justin tv and i was lyk WTF i hope he doesn't kill anyone :)

  • i miss those days of "pure, unadulterated childhood" that kevin was talking about.

  • "...I think I'm gonna get some birth control pills...just thought you should know."

lol, kevin's probably all, "KAREN! Vodka tonic first, news like that second!" haha.

  • THE BEST SHOW IN TV HISTORY

  • omg i totaly forgot this sitcom i used to watch it when i was a kid.

  • I saw this when I was a child, I cannot explain how happy I feel for watching it now

  • Why does the intro song sound different from the one I remember as a kid? It sounds like it was sung by someone else.

  • 68 i wasn't even born yet not until 71

  • the idiot who disliked this doesn't have taste and real tv shows

  • it's kinda freaky how Josh Saviano i.e.- Paul is present day Marilyn Manson

  • @serpentsally Um, no... he grew up to be a lawyer, but was always rather chuffed that people assumed him to be a rock star rather than a nerd! (See his wikipedia page)

  • at 3:21 that guy is hawt!

  • I love how the story kicks off in '68 and is framed within the context of the Vietnam conflict, told through the perspective of a young suburbanite boy. Kevin is the perfect metaphor for a society just awakening to harsh realities and an innocence lost never to be regained.

  • OMG! THANK YOU!

  • I used to watch this with my family when I was a kid, 20 years ago. The 1990's were the good days. Right?

  • BEST MOTHA FUCKIN SHOW EVER !!!!!!!!

  • And by the way! im watching this in 2011and i LOVE IT!!! and who would dislike this! its really great thank you for sharing this amaising video!!!!!

  • Hey can some one help me out? my teacher used to watch this when she was little and she assigned a homework it was to watch the first episode and write the characters, setting,Problem, solution,Events and resolution. But im having a problem writing down characters i just dont get their name right. please help!

  • @F1nalD3sTinaT1oN Interesting school project/report. Kevin Arnold is the narrator/protagonist/lead/star..his best friend is Paul Pfeiffer, his crush and neighbor is Winnie Cooper, his brother is Wayne Arnold, his sister is Karen Arnold and his parents are Norma and Jack Arnold. Brian Cooper is WInnie's big brother who dies in Vietnam. Hope this helped.

  • Man... Brian Cooper is such a badass... I wish they would have had him in the show longer before he shipped off to Nam.

  • ive always loved this show its classic

  • the reason this isnt a dvd series is because of the songs. everybody would want money and they only had the rights to play them on national tv and they would have to pay mucho millions to the who beatles and many other bands, which some are not around anymore. it sucks though best tv series of all time and i was born in 95!

  • i was born in 1980 so this was around when i was 12...memories

  • I loved Winnie when I was a kid.

  • Oh wow, I haven't seen this show in a while.

  • when i watched the first seconds i saw him *freddy savage* and i yelled out NICE SOCKS!

  • i feel like kevin im gonna GO TO 7 TH GRADE AND SUMMER HAS JUST STARTED AND IM IN LOVE WITH MY GUY BESTFRIENG LOL =] IM A GIRL

  • @ItsAnitaDude if you're gay its okay

  • i feel like kevin im gonna GO TO 7 TH GRADE AND SUMMER HAS JUST STARTED AND IM IN LOVE WITH MY GUY BESTFRIENG LOL =]

  • i kinda look like kevin

  • wow brian cooper is CUTE....

  • WHY WHY WHY isnt this series on DVD???? I would buy it Instantly!

  • @mcsheena they have some on amazon but netflix has all of them.

  • @mcsheena The same reason why China Beach isn't on DVD or Blu Ray. Since there were so many recording artists who contributed to the show who felt that they weren't compensated the first time, they refuse to allow their music to be used.

  • @mcsheena its on netflix

  • @mcsheena Netflix

  • i was wondering the same thing and its not on dvd because of music rights ...

  • this is a really good show.

  • man i used to love this show

  • check out the fansite the-wonder-years . com

  • i agree with someone else, the savage brothers made TV good viewing. "The Wonder Years" and "Boy Meets World" which i my top 5 favorite show of all time! along with "The Parkers", "That 70s Show", "That's So Raven" and "Step By Step"

  • this show's on hub tv

  • I am from a country exactly other side of the globe, but this show makes me nostalgc too.

  • I LOVE this show! Thank-you so much for posting this! It takes me back . You have to love Winnie Cooper. Classic! :)

  • I loved watching re-runs of this show when I was a kid...Just hearing the theme song makes me smile :)

  • I watched this on German TV when I was a kid. Those were some of my best hours spent in front of the TV. :)

  • Thank you so much!!!!!!!

  • Wish Youtube had Any Day Now here?

  • Fred was a cutie pie. Ben, well he was cute but not as good as his older bro.

  • Holy shit .... i havent seen this since i was seven i was not born yet when this originally aired but i watched re runs on nick@nite i miss the 90s

  • @watked wooo same

  • @watked You miss the 90s because you were born then and watched this show then, a TV series from 1988 about 1968 that you saw in reruns in the 90s? What the hell.

  • Man, I miss the F**k out of this show.

  • I miss the F*** out of this show.

  • wayne must have watched this video.... who else would vote dislike?

  • loved this show. still wishing it will return someday although I know it will never lol

  • Brian Cooper reminds me of James Dean, it would have been interesting if the writers kept him in the cast, but his death really helped to reflect the social issues of the times.

  • Wayne musta hit the damn dislike button lol.

  • i loved this show, great soundtrack.

  • thank you so much

  • holy shit I didn't know the narrator (Daniel Stern) was Marv (the dumb one) from Home Alone

  • what would you do if i sang outta tune???

  • 6:56 holy crap! I have that Poster!!!!

  • I remember staying up late and watching this on Nick at Nite!

  • Only good thing about that Superbowl Sunday was this episode....Broncos got CRUSHED 42-10 vs the Redskins so this was the only thing about that day worthwhile...

  • miss being a kid and having those "long" summers.

  • I did grow up during The Wonder Years, and it was so much like this great show, and I had the greatest times ever as a kid and a young teenager! I could write a book on all of the fun and wild times in my suburb! If I ever write this book, I'll dedicate it to "The Wonder Years" show, for all the reminders of just how fortunate I was to be born during this amazing time! Peace to all!, BobbyK

  • In my humble opinion, The Wonder Years was the best TV show ever !The only other show that was as good, is not much known about, but was great like The Wonder years--This was the wonderful TV show"State of Grace" which only ran from 2000-2001! But, it was exactly like The Wonder Years, only a little more from the female point of view! I thank God Hub Network put this wonderful show on again, so I could try to tape every episode ever made! Peace, BobbyK

  • I was definitely born in the wrong era. Thank God for shows like this....

  • This makes me incredibly sad. Not exactly the kind of childhood I was able to capture.

  • @BliksemSP I never had a girlfriend growing up during my wonder years. I envy kevin and everyone who had what he did.

  • I remember watching this over and over again on Nick at Nite when I was little. I wish I could watch it all again, knowing everything I know now about the 60s/70s. Such an amazing show.

  • feel like crying. time has gone by so fast

  • Umm. Hi. I'm 13 years old.

    And I love this show.

  • nostalgia can't get any better than this

  • Ahhh! When television was actually good. I remember both The Wonder Years and Doogie Howser, M.D. coming on ABC. I think they came on back to back.

  • Just thought i would be the first dislike. <3

  • Damn I LOVED this show! Back when I was in middle school I used to rush home and watch this every night at 7pm on ION channel! Damn shame it got cancelled. Anyways this show is definitely one of my favs! The life of kids growing up. Kind of makes me sad watching this though because I think of all the time that went by. Soon I'll have to go to college and such.

  • Aw they were so cute kids...Kevin, Paul, and Winne....

  • I don't think the hub showed this or maybe I wasn't paying attn. to the very beg.

  • I watch this on the hub everyday and I did not know this was the first...I thought it was something else but now when I think about it yeah it was...

  • i used to love watching this show growing up.. still top fav show

  • I loved this show! I've been looking for it everywhere without success until now :)

  • *IN STEREO WHERE AVAILABLE*

  • In stereo where available!

  • damn nixon had a straight up gonzo nose

  • DEPRESSING MAYBE UR DEPRESSED? KEEP WATCHING. XFILESMANSON

  • this shows depressing

  • @xfilesmanson your confusing depression with nostalgia...

  • i've been watching this on the hub lately

  • i've been watching this on the hub lately

  • I haven't seen this show in over 20 yrs. Wow, what memories! Perfect timing of this show for me, Kevin Arnold's life was a mirror image of mine in the late '80s / early '90s. Fun times. I miss it.

  • is paul really maryln manson as a child?

  • @jesse1987garrett I can't believe that rumor is still around. Nah..its not true. :)

  • my faveret show

  • i allways hated that hippie bitch.other then that it was a good show.

  • one of my favorite all time tv couples winnie and kevin, zack and kelly, cory and tapanga max and liz just to name a few, but i am a hopeless romantic

  • Boy meets world was great and funny but when it got serious i didn't like it. In my opinion Cory and Topanga don't come close to Winnie and Kevin. And i just love the era Wonder Years takes place in good music good people classic

  • Was this original narrator not Daniel Stern? I heard the original guy got replaced for Stern.

  • the Savage brothers made for good tv watching

the Wonder Years and Boy Meets World FTW for all time

  • Is this still re-runed on any old networks?

  • @Larzuthul yes the hub channel at night.

  • Born in 86 and this is my all time fav show,,,

  • so got chills thank you thank you thank you yay !!!!

  • what a classic...luv dis shiit

  • So glad this is on The Hub!

  • easily one of the greatest tv shows ever made

  • 1968, the retardation of America. A time when Americans would forever become stupid and worthless. A time when white people would lose their power. A time when people realized: "this is it, there isn't anything else."

  • The nostaliga.. almost a lump in the throat that you wish you could go back to. Well it lives on and always will. At least I can say I lived to enjoy it :)

  • Comment removed

  • Isn't Marilyn Manson in this show?

  • @Maddy922 What is this, 1996? People still believe that rumor?

  • @stigler30 noooo i dont i was just kidding :P

  • SCROAT!

  • the super cooper!

  • It's sucks that the show isn't on dvd but the rights to the songs are too high. I rather not have it on dvd than have the music be changed. You can always watch it on that the network the Hub.

  • ive been lookin for this forever!!!!!!!!!!

  • BEST SHOW EVER!!!!!!!!

  • Well, I'm 28 almost 29 and it seems to have as much of a part of my life as a lot of the other classic shows do. :-)

  • LOL Wayne!

  • lol im sorry paul this is a...family matter...

  • he had this really great '59 grand el camino, it didn't run of course but he was always out there working on it, sweaty, grease all over his hands...what a guy

  • Best. Show. Ever. A sad, sad shame this has not been released on DVD. While I was not born until 1976, so cannot personally relate to this period in time, it gave me a great glimpse of my parent's generation, as well as some important life lessons I will never forget. (Not to mention a life-long crush on Fred Savage). :)

  • @HippyWitchGal dude, I wasn't born till 1991 and this is by far one of my top fav shows ever. i watched reruns on tv as a kid and i'm rediscovering it again :)

  • @blckbooty same here, born in 1991 too and this show is still awesome

  • @blckbooty A lot of people have that same story. I was born in 85 so i was still too young. I watched a lot of the reruns later on though and loved it.

  • @blckbooty I was also born in 1991 and i remember watching the reruns on Nick at Night too. Me and my family loved watching it. Now that i'm older i appreciate it even more!

  • @blckbooty lol exact same. born in 91

  • I just found out that Fred Savage was born in my town and lived here for about 11 years!

  • this show was great why don't they have shows like this anymore

  • "Holy cow!"

"Just don't drool on it, okay?"

  • 5:12 xD

  • OMG!! I'm 14 years old and I love this show! I wish they still played it on TV though :(

  • @bookwormgal1996 It makes me smile that the younger generation (well, some of you) actually get to see this show (even if just on YouTube or as reruns) I grew up watching it (I am 34 now) and it has stayed with me my entire life. Please, please watch them all. Best show from the late 80's/early 90's BY FAR!!!!

  • love this t.V. show!

  • one of greatest shows all time

  • This show began in 1988, 20 years after 1968. If, today, there were a series set in 1991, I wonder what could possibly be "wonderful" about it?

Perhaps 1991 wasn't as dynamic as 1968. Come to think of it, I'm not sure which year was worse.

  • lol at paul waving with the bread

  • Anyone see the amazing resemblance between winnie cooper and hipster girl style?

  • lol this actually made me laugh. man, this must have actually been a good show. everyone agrees that tv just isnt like this anymore. tv doesn't teach lessons. it just tells lies and utterly distracts now, and makes ppl stupid

by the way, why does the actor of that main character's older brother look familiar? i mean that blond hair dude

  • @92soothsayer He was on Back to the Future as a brother to Lorraine, Peewee's Big Adventure, and guest announcer on World Championship Wrestling in the early 90s.

  • @Gamebox27 oh yea, BttF, that kid with the raccoon fur hat. Hey, well thanx a lot for replying. i've only seen bits and pieces of the Peewee movie to remember that it's so wacky that it's almost ridiculous, but i'll have to check it out some time. i mean i should get to know of a lot of these actors and old shows since i'm schooling for TV production

i'm not much for wrestling but i guess i'm gonna have to get to know at least some of the golden age. i know of Hogan, Knash, Sting, &Randy Savage

  • I wasnt able to find out which it is, but from what I have read I think its just the theme, but dont quote me on that. If it was the theme I say just write a new one for the show (or just remove it) and put out the DVD's I would buy every single season today.

  • Man I loved this series as a kid, I watch it now and have a completely different perspective on the family. Ignorance is bliss.....

  • Comment removed

  • haaa I forgot about Karen!:)

  • This show is being shown on a channel called "the hub" but it's only available on satellite or extended cable packages.

  • nick at nite sucks now...

  • this was a good show. its too bad they don't make them like this anymore.
