Becoming? He already is quite accomplished. Any animator that can work for Disney and then turn leave them, is accomplished in my book. Not to mention all the awards he wins at film and animation festivals. I know a lot of people like to claim that Disney is evil or something, but to a lot of animators, Disney is one of the founders of modern animation. So, they deserve all the praise that they receive.
