How well do these phones with slide outs last? I typically put my phone in my rear, pant's pocket. Will there be too much twisting and strain on the slide connections? Having a KB is nice, I guess, but I only text mess. from time to time. I am more interested in the photo-flash/video-light.

I like the resolution the phone has, i don't like the fact that its easy to get finger prints and get dirty. I also looks difficult to use, Ive seen some reviews where they try to click or try sliding with their finger and they have to do it several times. Im still waiting for a kick ass phone, hopefully have beter ones in 2009.

Why would the pro be "much faster" when it essentially has the exact same hardware and software as the diamond? 288 MB RAM, 528 Mhz Qualcomm CPU (MSM7201A), WM 6.1 Pro. The only reason the diamond would perform differently than the Pro would be down to the particular ROM it is running, which can be updated.

yes it's coming to Verizon. But in Sprints contract with HTC they have thirty days before any other company can release news about there versions of this phone. It also will be on At&t. There are new models that are going to be released very soon that come in white. Verizon may get one of these. I like the silver look of the pro...Verizon may keep that look. Also Verizon's model will have half the memory and ram when compared to Sprints models. A SD card will be available. I hope that changes..

I don't know what the prices will be, but I'm hoping Verizon will make the correct changes in order to release these phones in the manner that they meant to be released to the public with.
