  • This game actually looks fun

  • This was a really good, realistic, down to earth, non-sensational review of a game for once. HURRAY! :-D

  • @Desolator144 Yay! :) But thanks for watching and the nice comment. :)

  • Well, thanks to this game, I managed to beat my friends at Goldeneye Wii in 3 minutes in a game that was supposed to take at least 15 . We played Golden Gun mode, where the Golden Gun gives you more points and is insta-kill, but you need very good accuracy to actually be able to get kills. Since I practiced on this game and got very good accuracy, owning them was a breeze.

  • @gameragodzilla It's interesting how playing one game can improve your skills on another. I think waaaay back when, playing and getting better at World Driver Championship on the N64 helped me pass the license tests on Gran Turismo.

  • WTF, no UK release?

I would be disappointed but with no calibration and no option to turn off the reticule, this game needs updating before being released worldwide.

  • "niceandgames," I like your video. Do you have any tips for the skeet module, regarding reloading, in order to get our scores above 80%?

  • @stephenjazz Hmmm, well, of course chaining big combos is important, and I like to reload quickly anytime I think there's a break in the clays flying around. Cause you never know when you'll get 5 flying in a row -- they're pretty easy to combo like that, and it stinks having to reload in the middle. That's off the top of my head, I'm not sure that's actually helpful info or not. :)

  • Hey "niceandgames" it's me I like reload cause it's a very good target shooting game that you can shoot paper wood clay and so on I really liked every mode that was available cause I always curious to see what it's like to play the ultimate military target shooting range cause I go on the Internet and you only get to play one challenge but this game has every target challenge in the world!!! : )

  • I dig a first person perspective in a light-gun game, but everything else about this game just seems boring.

  • @XMrStayPuftX Yeah, you really have to love the shooting part of gun games. :) If you like to have action, maybe a story, interesting character design, etc, you'd probably prefer any of the other light gun style games on the Wii. Though, I do appreciate the idea behind this game and I do think it's pretty fun!

  • what's the game?

    -reload

    What do you do?

    - you shoot

What happens after you empty your clip?

    -you reload

    What else does it do?

-fail to keep track of your score effectively

    Wow that's super!

  • @CSryoh Yes, but don't forget about the reloading...oh, you did mention that. :)

  • Thanks for the review... can you tell me if there is an aiming calibration? Also, can the on-screen reticle be turned off?

  • @holygeez03 There's very few options at all. The only control options are choosing from the 3 preset control schemes: Wii Remote, Wii Zapper style, and Nunchuk style. (Those are the names they are called in game.)

So, to actually answer your question lol, there is no aiming calibration and the reticle is always on, sorry.

  • Woot! No Recoil!

  • @WoShiBaoGe lol There might be some recoil with some of the machine guns. But it's certainly not a lot. That would be a cool feature to add into a gun peripheral, actually.

  • it seems like a nice way to practice for actual shooters. i got it for full price and it seems pretty fun from what i seen.

  • @gameragodzilla That's a really interesting idea, that his game could be training for other games! Glad you are enjoying the game so far. :)

  • Q: What do you call an empty jar of Cheeze Whiz?

    A: Cheeze Whuz.

  • @Fuzzy192006 I enjoy this joke very much. More than I should, probably. :)

  • @niceandgames Then my job here is done.

  • @Fuzzy192006 You're welcome back anytime. :)

  • the reason why the wii excels in accuracy is cause the cross hair actually moves. This game is a good example.

  • @NitromeSupporter True! In fact, in the sniper mode, since the Wii remote is so sensitive, I found that sometimes I actually had to hold my breath when shooting to be still enough to hit the target, at least if I was trying for a head shot. It's that kind of physicality that helps make these kind of games enjoyable on the Wii.

  • Not one for me, I like games when the things I shoot, shoot back. But great review!

  • @nexus000111 Thanks! I did forget one thing in this video, and that's that certain targets do shoot paint at you if you don't shoot them fast enough. If you see a target with a colored time above his head, you want to shoot him before time runs out or else you get hit with paint. In fact, at ~2:08 in this video you'll see a target with dynamite strapped to his chest come across the screen from the left and somehow, even though he is at point blank range, I missed and got splattered with paint.

  • @nexus000111 That said, it never feels like you are getting shot at, it just adds a little element of...paint....to the gameplay. :)

  • I'd totally pick this up for a few bucks, but likely not full price. Great review once again. Thanks for reminding me of HotD and Dead Space on the Wii though, I've been meaning to grab those and now that I have a Wii again I need to get on it!

  • @phreakindee I think there's some fun to be had with Reload, and I'd guess it would drop to $10 at some point, maybe less. Though I don't know why I guess that, really. lol And hooray for having a Wii again! *Wii remote high-fives*

  • nice review, as always the production value was very good and your intro always brings a smile to my face! Looks like an OK game, though the graphics aren't great and I'm not really into shooters.

  • @TheVideoGameJunkie99 Yeah, if you aren't into shooters, then this probably would have no appeal, as that's literally all you do. lol

  • Gotta love Wii shooters...

  • @Bakemon13 Definitely. :)

  • most unrealistic game ever!

    1. at shotgun he reloads 3 bullets and he has 7 to shot lol

    2. desert eagle has 7 bullets not 20 WTF!

  • @Bitom10 Thanks for the comment! My guess is they probably changed some things for the sake of making the gameplay easier/more fun, and thus sacrificed some realism. For example, do you ever see 5 clays flying in a row like happens in this game? I am really asking, I don't know, but it seemed a little strange to me. lol

  • Narox watched this video and likes it! Look fun dude.

  • @narox Niceandgames is glad Narox watched! Seriously, thanks for watching, I appreciate it. And I bet the people who made Reload appreciate it too!

  • Looks like a good target shooting game.

I don't know what I'm talking about, having never played any target games newer than Hogan's Alley and Duck Hunt, but it looks better than anything of it's type that I've seen reviewed.

I can see families being more willing to have this game in the house instead of stuff like House of the Dead. Also, it might appeal to a crowd that enjoys target shooting but is turned off by violent monster/alien/war games.

  • @gdement I agree, could be a more family type game. Unless you are a tree and hate seeing not only things made out of wood, but those things being shot to pieces. And Hogan's Alley is a good comparison! Maybe this is more advanced technically, but same basic idea, at least for some of the missions.

  • Doesn't look half bad. I'd give it a try. Nice review.

  • @MAMECADE Thanks! This game isn't half bad. With a bigger budget perhaps it could've been better. Nice idea for a game though, although perhaps the lack of action will limit it's appeal.

  • Seems like an interesting budget title not sure its enough action for my tastes though

  • @neoflynn I can see that, I think it's a game with a certain appeal to a perhaps small but enthusiastic group of gamers. What group that is, I'm not sure. I do think it's pretty fun though, especially in small doses, like an arcade game.
