I did p90x for like 3 weeks and then I stopped. and when I went back to school my friends were saying my chest looked bigger. Now i'm just waiting for basketball season to end so I can start p90x again =).
IMO best workout motivation is to find someone with your same workout goals, who is just as motivated as you. On the days you dont want to go he will get you to go, and on the days he doesnt want to go you will get him to go. Perfect

Great video Aaron. I use to wrestle and play football in high school, so the strength I had came naturally...however, when I got into college, I started lifting. I've been lifting for 1 year straight and im jacked. I agree with everything you said 100%, it takes your motivation to another level. ALSO, it helps you in other parts of your life as well, such as procrastination. I never procrastinate anymore, I do what I'm suppose to do and on time. My GPA is 3.79 as a biology major in college.

I don't know if you'll read or respond to this, but I have a question about shoes... I noticed that you'll emphasize streamline, and that the shoes should be "tapered" with round tip...well what about a shoes that has a slight square at the tip instead of round? ex. Calvin Klein Shoes, Buster Oxfords at macy's? would be great if you can answer this! Thanks
@wusta34 Aaron is pretty anti-square though some of us are still into it. Try them on with some decent clothes and see how they look. If you feel a bit blocky when you look in the mirror, don't buy them. I can get away with a little squaring on my toes because I'm slim with big shoulders but it's not for everybody. And @Ever3j if you're 13-17 and want to look slick, wear modern adult fashion. If you want something trendy, just wear the same thing everybody around you is wearing.

I turned 18 this month, started running this week. These videos will definitely help. Can you do videos on workouts, when I don't need to go to a gym? Those would be the best.
anyone know how to run. I tried it but 2 mins later im out of breathe and my chest and feet hurt. i just need to do some cardio that works. i tried skipping as well and that worked but i ended up really hurting my calf muscles that lasted for a month
@hoptop77 If you are that exhausted after just 2 minutes of running, I suggest starting off your cardio program by just walking instead of running. And as alpha said, take it slow at the start, maybe 10 minutes a day of walking, let your body get used to moving around a lot.

Whats ur bodyfat percentage? I weight 205 lbs and im 5'10" and I think im like 18% bodyfat, but i simply dont have a clue. I want to get to 10% bodyfat and want to know how long itll take if I dont do cardio but only weightlift. I workout for about 45 minutes 3 times a week. Bench 165, Squat 295, Deadlift 330, Row 85. I focus on strength, but would love to lose all this FLAB.

@themadrushin1 well i prefer cardio over weights anyday ,i mean people think cardio is jusrt 30 min, jog on the tredmill and u almost fall a sleep no man , cardio is what i call a workout that pushes ure body every time to the next level ,lets say when u start u do a jog of 10 min. very slow paced ,that what ure body can take ,but next week u push ure body to 15 min. with intervals , damn i can tell u cardio is more fun than lifting weights ,and u can actually fitness longer because of that so
Another great video! The only thing I can disagree with is about starting slow...if you don't overdo it on a daily basis, working out every day can be a great jumpstart, especially if you hate how you look as much as I did when I started. I may have had a unique experience, but the 15 pounds of muscle in just over a month definitely helped keep me going! But yeah, definitely be very careful and don't hurt yourself or you'll lose all of your great progress!
Im going to college in a year can you do a video on staying fit without gaining the Freshmen 15 Im terrified. Most colleges have a fitness center that is paid for with your tuition and most of the time, it's a free lifetime membership. Also, they all usually do have personal trainers there.

damn Aaron, you are ripped man...for me, i don't go to the gym anymore. Waste of my expenses, and I dont have time after work. For cardio, i dance with my gf and walk to and from the park with my dog every chance i get when i get home. Then for Mon, I'd work on chest & back. For Wed, arms & shoulders. Finally for Fri, legs and abs. All in my garage or my backyard and each lasting no more than half an hour during that designated day. Been doing that for 5 months and I like the results so far

And one last thing just be honest to ureself ,im i too fat just dont go and lift weights everyday and skip the cardio ,no do more cardio instead of lifting weights ,if ure skinny do more weights than cardio ,,,,but people dont like cardio but cardio is like the most important workout more important than lifting weights even if ure skinny that doesnt mean ure stamina is good ,cardio will keep ure bodyfat low so ure muscles will come out better and if ure bodyfat is low enough tadaa abssss

Another great video! The only thing I can disagree with is about starting slow...if you don't overdo it on a daily basis, working out every day can be a great jumpstart, especially if you hate how you look as much as I did when I started. I may have had a unique experience, but the 15 pounds of muscle in just over a month definitely helped keep me going! But yeah, definitely be very careful and don't hurt yourself or you'll lose all of your great progress!

Most colleges have a fitness center that is paid for with your tuition and most of the time, it's a free lifetime membership. Also, they all usually do have personal trainers there.

@DollarBillUK Steroids aren't a magic thing that you take and overnight you become huge. Even when cycling you have to have huge dedication to gym and diet to see any major results (and Zyzz apparently only cycled a few times early on, for a kickstart). And it's not just his physique that's inspiring, it's how he changed his life. From a skinny World of Warcraft player to an aesthetic god.

damn Aaron, you are ripped man...for me, i don't go to the gym anymore. Waste of my expenses, and I dont have time after work. For cardio, i dance with my gf and walk to and from the park with my dog every chance i get when i get home. Then for Mon, I'd work on chest & back. For Wed, arms & shoulders. Finally for Fri, legs and abs. All in my garage or my backyard and each lasting no more than half an hour during that designated day. Been doing that for 5 months and I like the results so far

awesome Aaron..love all your vids, and truly appreciate the work you put into them. I started out as a skinny kid out of high school 4 years back weighing only a hundred twenty pounds at 5'10..wanted to look good and be jacked i joined the gym. The clicking point was soon after my first year when friends started asking me about health and fitness advice and how confident i became around the ladies ;) I can proudly say i stand at about 175 pounds of muscle today :) thank you for inspiring us!

And one last thing just be honest to ureself ,im i too fat just dont go and lift weights everyday and skip the cardio ,no do more cardio instead of lifting weights ,if ure skinny do more weights than cardio ,,,,but people dont like cardio but cardio is like the most important workout more important than lifting weights even if ure skinny that doesnt mean ure stamina is good ,cardio will keep ure bodyfat low so ure muscles will come out better and if ure bodyfat is low enough tadaa abssss

@jika12 That's so true. I'm skinny and I was doing just bodyweight workouts and skipping cardio because I thought I didn't need it, once I stopped seeing my abs went back to doing burpees and tadaaaaa! I'm starting to see them again... =)
