Sai Ram, I happened to be a witness to this beautiful dialogue in music between the Divine and the devotee. It brought tears to our eyes seeing our beloved Swami stand there and listen to this lovely song. In fact this was after the formal program for the evening had ended. Swami brushed away the chair which was brought for Him. Later we got to know (I'm not very sure though) that it was the singer's deep desire to sing this song with Swami standing before Him and dear Swami fulfilled it.

Heavenly Voice. I have heard MS sing this same song, but Srikumar's voice is something else. It is a blissful experience to look at Babaji and to hear soulful singing at the same time. I was reminded of the shloka of Sri Purandaradasa who says "malagi paadidare kootu keluva, kootu paadidare nintukeluva...". Meaning of the shloka is if the devotee sleeps and sings in praise of God, he sits and listens, if the devotee sings while sitting, he stands and listens, if dvotees stands and sing he listens whie dancing.

Why are the malayalees soooooo very clanish. Why can't they ever seem to enjoy anything other than seeing it through the eyes of a keralite ! Sigh... Nevertheless this is an amazing rendering by one of the top singers. I hope that all the malayalees will learn that we are the world. We are one. This is an amazing rendition. I have never heard anyone singing 'Jagadoddarana' with such devotion, such surrenderence. In the Carnatic world there is no one who can sing this composition like Kavalam and Sri Valsan Menon....Hats off Kavalam, God bless your voice and dedication.
