I am a high school student in California. It is disgusting what they are doing to out school system. I am truly appalled. I cannot go to summer school, or get money for college because my government is so irresponsible and over spends. Fact is the state has spent too much money(more than it has) for too many years and now it's finally reached the point where taxes are already the highest in the country after that $16 Billion tax increase they just slapped us with a couple of months ago. CTA caters to illegals because they stipulated that they will not teach if there are more than 30 students - thus the state has to hire new teachers, hence more dues for the UNIONS. Educational standards are lowered due to illegals and you have to hire Hispanic Teachers teaching spanglish and reform math to a group of students that do not care about education and drop out and join gangs.
