Even if you don't race professionally you should know how to merge onto a highway/motorway where much faster cars are coming on your left, you stay in the slow lane, come up to speed until it's clear to pull out of the white line. I've only been driving for 9 years and know that one, never had an accident either!
Safety car shouldn't have been out. The flags were out and the boards were going up but the safety car driver hadn't been authorised to leave the pit lane.
@OriginalSHare how is that? when the black car crashes you can see the symbol for the red flag! The race organizer makes the call to send out the safety car. and he is clearly pissed at the BMW team. It takes a few seconds to get the flag men to put out the SC boards! even in F1 When you are leading the race and go through a small section of green flags then run into 3 yellow flags, any good driver would slow down.

That was blatantly Engstler's fault there. Safety Car board is on the start line being shown as at 1:12, which means you should slow down and expect the safety car in front of you. I'm pretty sure the boards were out before he even passed the start line.
Sorry, but thats not right! At 1.09 when Engstler past was no sign out! And the race car driver is very stupid to drive out like that! He could stay on his site just at the end of the white line...!

It takes a few seconds to get the flag men to put out the SC boards! even in F1 When you are leading the race and go through a small section of green flags then run into 3 yellow flags, any good driver would slow down.

@OriginalSHare Actually the yellow flags were on so the safety car was the proper one, the racers did not lowered the speed, thing you have to do every time the flag goes out. It was a terrible place to go outside though.

Yes FIA states that a car leaving the puts needs to stay until the end of the white line, safety car's fault.

That was blatantly Engstler's fault there. Safety Car board is on the start line being shown as at 1:12, which means you should slow down and expect the safety car in front of you. I'm pretty sure the boards were out before he even passed the start line.

Sorry, but thats not right! At 1.09 when Engstler past was no sign out! And the race car driver is very stupid to drive out like that! He could stay on his site just at the end of the white line...!

@transaktion08 actually, the safety car shouldnt have cut out of the white line of pit lane, that was a blind corner for the bimmer, how could he have seen the safety car being dangerous?????
