In the second you play as a totally different character called Matthew Steele who was scribe to Sir William and you and Sir William are looking for your king. I have almost finished the campaign. I am not too good at stronghold when it comes to sieging with limited troops

For those of you who are asking about how he survived, re-watch the trailers. they say men from the west reassemble his bones. it's a re-incarnation, mystical arts sort of thing, a bit like in legends. He even says he was killed... Sigh, with that, skyrim, assassin's creed revalations, and the next uncharted and so on, i will soon be broke, fat and single... i just described myself. huh, go figure.

lol, this mission lasts long, and... i need an explenation, why the **** did they set portable shields (couse when i use em, theyre useless) SOMEONE EXPLAIN PLZ!!!

@ILoveVideos133 Portable shields are actually very usefull since you can hide any unit behind them and they'll absorb a ton of arrows and bolts. I used to place them in front of my trebuchets so they can attack the walls and towers. Once a shield is destroyed you simply move the next one to the front. Thus you'll have less casualties cos you'll only lose one engineer and 5 pieces of gold instead of three engineers and 150 pieces of gold for the trebuchet!

ye XD but i give you a tipp at mission 18 you tunners have got a glich wich is that the enemy don't see you tunnlers and u can destroy the walls... so u just need to rush and kill but watch out because in the castle is pech on the ground (just told u if u don't know it) enjoy stronghold!

Finally beat the mission! Didn't use any cheats because I didn't know how to make them work lol. Sent 60 Spearmen right into a fiery death too. Thought they would waltz over to the Wolf no prob and the next thing I know they're on fire. Thought after the first 3 times he tried that he had run out of tricks. I was just like "FUCK!!!". Swordsmen pulled through for me though! First time I've ever beaten the game since buying it in 2001, at age 11. WOO HOO!! GL to everyone else who tries it!

this level was surprisingly easy, even in hardest mode. just retreat all your troops to the last 2 towers in front of your castle and close your keep with stone. use all your gold for archers and crosbowman and reinforce those towers and walls. you will survive the attacks

here is a trick for everybody plays this game if ur opponet gave u a hard time just let ur engineers build a few shields and bring 30 crossbow and let em base at the spot where ur enemy rest before attacking u this will destroy any attackers
