Has the enemy won? Does Danko need a bankie and some nap time? This song and Code of the Road seem really tired. Even the philosophy is the antithesis of the non-stop, balls to the wall rock they have demonstrated quite well on all previous releases. I'm sure this cut will bring them lots of new listeners that never would have heard (or liked) their early stuff. That's great. I don't care if he sells out. It's just too bad he had to wimp out to do it.

I think every Danko fan agreas most of the new album is way too poppy in comparison to all his previous work. Like other people pointed out, Danko I don't care if you go soft on us, but don't act like you still rock harder then everybody else.

i quite like the new direction, even tho i prefer old danko jones, i see little wrong with this album. With this song in particular, can be argued that as the whole nature of the song is "fedup of touring, want to go home, etc", kinda reflects the fact that danko wants to listen to music that's not like the band, stuff he enjoys in his spare time. Bit literary I know, but makes sense from a songwriting perspective
