  • I think I have a CUNNING plan!!! ;)

  • I wonder if Tony ever had 2nd doubts about doing this show???....

  • this dude is funny as shit. I still think 'royal food taster' is much better than the job I have now.

  • did she say fuck at 8:40? hahahahaha

  • @xraidedlok It can see myself very many women died drowning can't you. XD

  • i love how ominous the music gets when she is explaining the affects of poisoning LOL

  • British food looks disgusting

  • @MartianSanta just saying that or thinking about the stereotype and letting it speak for you?

  • *sigh* Women and their luggage...amirite guys?

  • @DrD0000M what the hell are you talking about? she was the friggin queen, and chick's don't carry that much more than guys, anyway

  • imagine a king that didnt live in a palace, or have any indulgences...and instead of demanding submission and reverence, he behaved like a servant to the people he led.. no, im not asking you to pray to jesus.. but theres no reason why a king couldnt be like that and be successful in leading his people well...everyone expects leaders to be to behave like pompous ...kings

  • @longfootbuddy Believe it or not, most kings didn't have palaces. Most kings didn't have castles. Most kings probably had homes for certain in history, but by and large most of them did just have an army and they did just run around with them, often waiting for their seat of power to be built. Many of the Saxon and Celtic kings were like that, not to mention Vikings and others.

  • @MikeTMerciless almost all kings have been power hungry assholes.. the only king that i can think of that wasnt, was crusified

  • @longfootbuddy Hold on now. That's not entirely true. A lot were, but most were just interested in merely keeping their throne. I'm not saying kings are great. I'm saying that it can be a whole world of experience foreign to you to be a king. And while I agree with you about Christ, at the same time being a king was not always pomp and splendor. It was paranoia, bloodshed, ruthless moves all mainly to keep the country together, to maintain stability.

  • @MikeTMerciless jesus is a good example to use...he was a good man that wouldve made a good king.. but instead of recognizing that, people called him crazy and killed him...people always choose a power hungry thug to lead them.. they reject good leaders for bad ones, because the people are evil and stupid

  • @longfootbuddy Actually, Jesus would not and was not interested in ruling the material world through material ends. Being a king is a horrible, terrible thing. To be a "good" king, you have to be a killer. You have to dispense death on those who threaten to destabilize your kingdom and you must do so without hesitation. You may even have to violate your own laws to do so. One of the things Machiavelli pointed out in his satire, The Prince, is how much of a real jerk you have to be.

  • @MikeTMerciless its not that jesus would reject being a king, he just knew that most people would hate and reject a king like him.. most people then and now, think that "To be a "good" king, you have to be a killer. You have to dispense death on those who threaten to destabilize your kingdom and you must do so without hesitation. You may even have to violate your own laws to do so."... and thats why we have shitty leaders and kings

  • @longfootbuddy The thing is, though, that even the best kings have to do that because we do not live in a perfect world. You may have a law saying that every citizen has a right to due process, but if you had a real situation where such due process might be just the kind of thing that would give a serious troublemaker a platform to stir up resentment to your reign, you may have to consider a quiet method of getting rid of him and his immediate entourage. I know, it sucks, but there it is.

  • @MikeTMerciless yes, the problem is the people..but i would never say that a "good king" would resort to evil to rule the evil people or maintain order, or any other reason...the whole reason we have to have law, is because of the evil people...if all people were good, theyrd be no need for laws or kings... i know that you must use law backed by force in an imperfect world, or else one man could slay the rest of us

  • @longfootbuddy I guess, though, I have a different take on things. Christ demonstrated that not one of us is eligible for Heaven. Not to say that because we're all evil we shouldn't bother to try to be good, what I'm saying is that we tend to hold ourselves to impossible standards when sometimes we just have to do the best we can and pray that in the end we do well. For a national leader, especially where the king is the law, that means that to maintain your kingdom and ....cont...

  • @longfootbuddy cont....to maintain your kingdom and to help make it prosper you would have to occasionally do things that would taint your immortal soul. I think a great many kings tried to be fair, but found themselves sending an assassin or two to get rid of a troublemaker who couldn't be gotten rid of in the normal process of law. Many probably didn't have any qualms about it. My point is that sometimes we're more blessed in our own lives than we think, never having to do things like that.

  • @MikeTMerciless well, to indirectly do evil , really isnt better than direct evil...but i see your point...and i dont see anyway to keep peace without doing evil to evil doers.. so perhaps i contradicted myself a little previously

  • @longfootbuddy What I often tell people who think that there is no good reason, ever, to have a war, is that it works both ways, that the means of waging war is in the hands of those who seek to do good as it is those who seek to do evil. We must never be afraid of fighting evil, even if it means that ultimately we may pay a terrible price for it. What is worse? Shall we have let the evil of Nazism continue in spite of our better judgment? Naturally not.

  • @MikeTMerciless its the same for war as it is to keep the peace on a smaller level.. i dont see how we can do without the use of force (violence), to keep evil people from ruining things, when theres evil people about..but we mustnt let the force used against evil be used against the good...the force of government should be as minimal as possible to keep us free..until god changes the hearts of all men, im afraid thats how it would have to be...its a complicated world...a very complicated world

  • @MikeTMerciless its very dangerous to trust the government , to the extent most people do

  • @longfootbuddy Absolutely, but it takes a lot to convince people of that.

  • @MikeTMerciless i guess the difference would be, with jesus as a king, people would have to willfully obey him...where as, with a normal king (or body of law),,,,,,it must be backed by force...the obvious problem with our current government, is it uses its force to back laws that violate our rights...they are unjust and illogical laws...the best law that i can think of, is one that protects our individual rights to be free

  • @MikeTMerciless actually, i dont even like to use the word obey...good people would do good and not evil because they want to

  • @longfootbuddy Cont...Also, to behave in a way "common" for a king is actually suicidal. If a king doesn't set himself above those who are his subjects, if he at all appears the least bit human and not somewhat superhuman or even divine, that's a good way to undermine loyalty in your kingdom and destabilize it. Wars have been launched for far less. It isn't a great life, believe it or not; and not many can handle it. Most didn't really do very well in that regard.

  • Elizabeth was a real bitch!

  • the Dr is ugly

  • @billu8660 and why is that important?

  • What if i faked being poisoned? And I was a food tester? What would my punishment be?

  • Royal traditions are so strange.

  • 6:59........nooo! the feathers go at the side flowing to the back! ....one must wear a beaver hat properly!

  • What do royals do these days to ensure their food isn't poisoned?

  • @BrionyCoote

For the President of the US and the Secret Service, the basic protection lies in picking a dish at random from the lot in the kitchen, so no one who prepares a particular dish knows who's going to eat it. It's probably much the same for HMTQ.

  • lol

  • I thought she would have sayed something like that the Portugese hired a couple of unemployed Mexicans who needed a job to poison the kings/queens food as a plot lol.

  • Like the helmet/hat combo Tony. Nice.
