@midairman where i live if you have good marks in high school you go to first year university/collage if you have a good average in high school but fails a course you take a foundation course in that subject THEN you do first year...what matt means is that these are the best of his first year and i'm ok with that cause that's where i'm at and hoping to be a professional in the next couple of years

by the way,the reason i brought that up was because i saw alot of these videos and got depressed thinking "if these are your worst students then i don't have a chance of making it!!!"

@nlmoviefan I think that's relative. I mean, you have to keep in mind these young people have probably been drawing for years + they go out on trips etc to study things, they are constantly encouraged to draw more and better. But I have the same feeling feeling of envy, guess you and I'll have to try harder, won't we? :)

@matthew39arch i don't think you should use the word "foundation" cause in alot of universities foundation courses are courses of subjects that you have problems with so you can get on par with other students so you can start university or college

I like the videos better, even if shaky as hell, because Matt can comment on what the students were supposed to do/ what the task was. I like that a lot because it's a good inspiration and makes me try to do the same thing! Thanks for uploading this mind-blowing sketchbook!

It is the most creative, sketchbook I give her that, but the drawings aren't the best. They are good don't get me wrong, but I've seen a lot more that strike my eye better than these. Some of them are really neat especially the one with the devil girl in the background. Great perspective. And the homework page with the orange in the background is awesome.I can always find something I really really like out of every one of these sketchbooks. Awesome!

my major art teacher is always like "everything has to be porportional! If the circle isn't perfect , use tracing paper!' and she made us draw our hands for two months straight and I can't even look at another hand drawing anymore.
