so many things wrong with this the first bein an olds dash was put in im sorry when rebuilding a car to get it back to original you do origiginal i know olds and buick were inter changable for yrs.but to be authentic should have been buick .just my honest opinion

The car is really sweet but, and I've got to be honest, the wheels just don't work. I'd love to see a set of the older 60's style American Racing mags in 14" or 15". Many of us older guys, who love cars like this, are NOT of the opinion that 20-22" wheels are any good. The car is really really nice but, IMHO, the wheels aren't.

Very nice build. I like the wheels unlike most who comment... the dash I think took some originality out but whatever, its a hot rod. I'd cruise it - no problem. Give it a bigger cam (224ish or so) and a touch louder on the exhaust. Maybe it was the camera?

I totally agree with the comment about the wheel. They are too big and the car is too low. Wire-spoked chrome wheels would be much better on this car. When they say 425 do they mean a Buick 425 cu in motor?

Oh!Those ugly wheels!Damn whoever invented them.The rest of the Buick is gorgeous.We had a '57 Century and believe me NOTHING could keep up in it's day,and daddy had a lead foot! Hell,the CHP used these, and their standards are the highest in the U.S.When you get past ubiquitous chevy/ford crap there are lots of REAL cars out there waiting to be noticed and recognized.The '57 Chrysler New Yorker was another luxury "bomb",392 Hemi,345 hp.I saw one years ago chopped and it was drop-dead beautiful

@kreigsmann yup its still a small block chevy. mine is a 434 which is a 400 block thats bored over 30 thousands and instead of a 3.75 inch stroke crank its a 4 inch stroke

@kreigsmann you misunderstood me. its still a small block engine. its just got more displacement now. the difference between a small block and a big block is a big block engine is a larger engine block to start with. my 434 is the same size on the outside as any other small block....350 327 305 283 its just got bigger internals. you can't put big block parts on a small block. if you have any other questions i'll try to help.

I saw this car in person at Del Mar Fair in 09?, believe me, it looks killer in person! I can't believe an old guy rides this thing around...truly a cool ride. The wheels make the car look more modern...also you can't fit big brakes kits on old cars if you dont upgrade the wheels!!!

The 57 in the video is awesome but rims belong on a Escalade and the dash belongs in damn oldsmobile!!!!
