I had the same problem in my m1330 (December 2007 version). I sent it back to dell two times and they finally repaired my motherboard, so far so good: Haven't seen any problems with my GPU thus far and I've been using my laptop to its maximum performance with dozens of applications.

i own one, but it is giving me lot of headache. Do a google search on the problem for this notebook. There is GPU heating problem which is happening a lot. It started to happen to me last week and it's really random. Before this, I always had a BSOD problem during hibernation. I consider myself very coolheaded consumer, but this product is just thinning my patience. Please do your research.

for anyone that's interested dell is offering huge discounts on select systems...including the m1330...list price for me after customization was about 2,100-tax came out to be around 1700 with a 599 discount...great deal...

offer ends in may 1st...now is as good as any to get one...unless you want to wait for blu-ray combo...which hasn't been announced but is expected to be sometime this year.

There's no comparison. Get the M1330. The Eee has a very small keyboard, a weaker processor, no optical drive, less RAM, smaller screen, etc.
