  • copper...will never me gold.

  • Whats he doing with his pick hand that makes the guitar sound like that? I've never been able to do that!

  • @brokilodeluxe He uses a copper pick and an aluminium neck guitar called a travis bean tb500. The amps he uses also have a big impact on his sound. Look him up on guitar geek for a pretty decent summary of his gear.

  • @fiddelerselbow

The huge heads in the background on a bunch of these shellac vids look like vintage tube compressors to me, like Teletronix or Universal... studio gear, which would make sense i guess considering he is a studio genius... it sounds like tube compression too... over driven on the input

  • @richnoir The big heads contain a blackface fender bassman and an intersound ivp preamp. Bob's Contains a traynor head, not sure which one. Theres a thread on Electrical audio where somebody asked steve about this and he confirmed that the guitargeek rig was pretty much on the button.

  • @brokilodeluxe he's tapping artificial harmonics, i think.

  • Thanks for the video. Such an amazing band!

  • Awesome. Thanks!
