Gleason got all the best lines by a mile. This is gold, but my favourites are "shut up, one shit at a time" and after the other sherriff tells him something is not germain to the situation he bellows "the god damn germans got nothing to do with it"

Definitely funny, although Buford's car was torn to pieces. "Daddy, the top came off!!!" Especially after driving beneath a Gifford-Hill concrete support beam.

Buford T. Justice is one of the greatest characters to ever see on film, on the other hand, a determined lawman.
