And secondly, you obviously know very little about show schedules if you think they would have 26 episodes done before the first one aired. Animation is a very fast process these days. They aren't hand drawn anymore. They can pump out a show in under a week. They generally make 1 or 2 episodes ahead of time to give themselves some room if they run into a problem.

Gentlemen, gentlemen calm down and consider the facts. The average age of Comic Book Readers and Enthusiasts (aka Geeks) is rising steadily. This means that titles become more mature and often have deeper stories, it also means that a significant demographic (the Young) is being excluded. Marvel is just trying to appeal to younger audiences, hoping to hook 'em while they're young.

So DC has always had better cartoons (good God is that more true now than ever), but now they're starting to get better movies too (Dark Knight, Green Lantern will hopefully be good, and neither is just an extended Avengers trailer like Iron Man 2 was and Captain America is bound to be), AND they're getting better video games now too. Marvel needs to step up their game, Young Justice from DC looks like yet another good cartoon and this, this just looks lame even for kids.
@educatedcockroach Hopefully, Marvel vs Capcom 3 will be the beginning of a small uprising from mediocracy for them. Disney buying them wasn't as bad as most people made it out to be. I've heard Disney helped them with IM2. That and with a billionare corporation on thier support, thay may just have the money to hire better directors, writers, and producers. Again, I'm just hoping.

First, Iron Man is the popular character now thanks to the movies.
Second, Marvel wants to appeal to kids because kids aren't buying their books anymore. As the comic book geek population is aging, publishers need new readers to keep going. This trend has been going for a while now (ex: Batman the Brave and the Bold) and Disney had little to do with it.

I can't believe the moronic posts YouTube seems to attract.
Firstly this was in production way before Disney bought the majority share of Marvel comics. But you think it's gonna hinder them? Warner ons DC and has done forever, and recently they've been way bigger than Marvel.
Spider-man is the mascot for Marvel? Yeah sure. Spider-man is the mascot for non-comic readers who only watch the movies. Marvel don't have a Mascot and Spidey is way overused.
If you don't like it, don't watch it.

Gentlemen, gentlemen calm down and consider the facts. The average age of Comic Book Readers and Enthusiasts (aka Geeks) is rising steadily. This means that titles become more mature and often have deeper stories, it also means that a significant demographic (the Young) is being excluded. Marvel is just trying to appeal to younger audiences, hoping to hook 'em while they're young.

And getting changed to something that they think is lame weather or not for kids, they just want to get rid of it. So DC has always had better cartoons (good God is that more true now than ever), but now they're starting to get better movies too (Dark Knight, Green Lantern will hopefully be good, and neither is just an extended Avengers trailer like Iron Man 2 was and Captain America is bound to be), AND they're getting better video games now too. Marvel needs to step up their game, Young Justice from DC looks like yet another good cartoon and this, this just looks lame even for kids.

@educatedcockroach Hopefully, Marvel vs Capcom 3 will be the beginning of a small uprising from mediocracy for them. Disney buying them wasn't as bad as most people made it out to be. I've heard Disney helped them with IM2. That and with a billionare corporation on thier support, thay may just have the money to hire better directors, writers, and producers. Again, I'm just hoping.

@BlueSkyFlacon MvC 3 looks good (if seizure inducing), and Disney's billions is probably the main reason the Avengers movie is going to get off the ground and be as good as it (hopefully) wll be. If they started making quality cartoons like DC that would be great, and god knows Disney has quality animators/writers that could make it happen. That and maybe the movies should be good again. (think about it, no RD Jr, and Iron Man might've sucked too, and that's the only good marvel film since SM1-2

i was reading the comments before watching this and i though they must be exagerating but all they say it's truth this can't be any more gay! this will really damage the kids! at least before, they would wait 'till they grow up to consider become a super hero and on the way drop the idea but with this we'll see kids jumping outta windows on a sixth floor!

Spiderman on the other hand, he lost his parents, his uncle, his girlfriend, everything, but he still keeps on fighting, no matter what it is, he will always be your friendly neighborhood Spiderman. But Ironman on the otherhand is just a big jerk with millions of dollars relaxing.

First, Iron Man is the popular character now thanks to the movies.
Second, Marvel wants to appeal to kids because kids aren't buying their books anymore. As the comic book geek population is aging, publishers need new readers to keep going. This trend has been going for a while now (ex: Batman the Brave and the Bold) and Disney had little to do with it.

More seriously, its aimed at little kids who might not be to thrilled with Civil War, Ragnarok or whatever. Not to mention that the 'real' Dr Doom is WAY too scary for kids cartoons. Once they're interested in the characters, Marvel's betting they'll 'graduate' to the real thing in comic form.

Worse than what? Seriously, cartoons arent supposed to be educational- schools and parents have that job already. They aren't high culture either. Let kids enjoy cartoons for what they are: simple entertainment. If some of them reach beyond that -like Batman the Animated Series, Ducktales or Bugs Bunny- wonderful, but the rest shouldn't be held to that high standard.

@Bogodon Because Ironman is some how very popular. Who cares, the movie sucked twice in a row, should have been Spider-Man. Stan Lee even said its his best creation and the most popular out of all Super Heroes. I guess they didnt put our friendly neighborhood spidey because of his other series, Spectacular Spider-Man.
