@mohawk5745 The only real way to save is to die on the NES version, there is an alternate method involving a second controller that automatically brings up the save menu, but I haven't tried it.
@frkonalsh2009 Actually, there is another method. All you have to do is go into the above menu, and then press "up" and "select" at the same exact time. This brings you to the save screen. Trust me, I just did it on mine. I have the wii version, but from my understanding the wii does not change a thing with downloaded games.
I paused the game by pressing select instead of bring up the item menu while recording, and that interrupted the recording process. Nothing major was missed since I was on my way to Level 1.

No, the Blue Ring just cuts damage in half. You need the Power Braclet in order to push rocks in the Overworld.
Power Braclet can be found in Quest II part 1 video.
