The DHQ they reconstitute in is Chahar Darreh. The fight was probably in Nari Sufi. I worked with the Germans there at the time of the video. Those guys were awesome.

I don't think there's much possibility to further improve machine guns... get them to be reliable, all they have to do is spray the field with lead :P When mounted on a good cradle, the MG3 is also somewhat precise... I love that gun. I just hated carrying it. Luckily, I don't have to anymore, since I'm OF1 :)

@11Bravoshitbag It's an MG3, a slightly modified version of the MG42. It's rate of fire has been reduced and the caliber changed to standard NATO 7,62x51mm rounds. The gun has proven itself again and again to be reliable, so why get another one?

I don't think there's much possibility to further improve machine guns... get them to be reliable, all they have to do is spray the field with lead :P When mounted on a good cradle, the MG3 is also somewhat precise... I love that gun. I just hated carrying it. Luckily, I don't have to anymore, since I'm OF1 :)
