Here's the thing - if I was going to make a fake violent video of Smash Bros, I'd probably focus on something easy to do, such as generic blood particles originating from the characters on the screen. And then to really sell it, I'd try to do something more impressive, but difficult, such as taking the image of mario and making his head come off - and I'd pull the camera away just as it happens, so no one notices it's just a simple 2D edit of his head moving.

But nah,that would be too obvious.
