1. salt inside denatures proteins and makes the meat stick together if it isn't cooked immediately
2. cheese is 'meh' but props for not doing a closet-meatloaf with all kinds of crap in it
3. olive oil burns and leaves a strong, smoky taste on food yuck
4. sub in french dressing for most of the ketchup and add dijon, tabasco, and finely minced onions, capers, and jalepenos = win
5. he just LOST SO MUCH JUICE by crushing it! make them under an inch instead!
6. melt the damn cheese!
