Recent scientific surveys publicized last year showed atheists actually know it better than the believers (and by a long way). Prayer is a way to feel like you're doing something when you're really doing nothing (accept talking to yourself which can sometimes be therapeutic).

I live in Sweden, it's an 85% atheistic population and I hardly know anyone who believes in God.
Even if there is a hell I wouldn't change anything, what would Heaven be like when none I know is there? everyone I love is burning eternally just because god made himself invisible and decided to hide outside of time and space, how could I possibly worship such a monster?

When you read in the OT there is a verse where G-d stated that there would be a new covenant (Jesus sacrifice) where our salvation will be written on our hearts. When I read the Bible it was as if it was all written into my soul/heart. I love G-d with all my heart. Here it is: You will not believe until you release yourself to Him. That is the key.

Recent scientific surveys publicized last year showed atheists actually know it better than the believers (and by a long way). Prayer is a way to feel like you're doing something when you're really doing nothing (accept talking to yourself which can sometimes be therapeutic).
