In ur save folder if you have ''cityname''.bad delete it!

If you want you can copy the backup of a city, name it like ''city2".sims3 then you have your lost city.

you need to save them to the bin that way when it does crash you;ll still have all of them there (im sure you know this right)

OMG the houses are soooooo coool, i would like to see them all!!

I had the same problem, Delete everything, saves, cc, s3pack.. (everything connected to sims 3). After that instal sims 3 and EP u want, and wisely choose your custom content, dont install everything. It takes a while but it is worth of trying. I did it myself, now i dont have any lagg or crashes. I hope you will do it and tell me how did it go.

if you install a new may be fine when I have such problems delete it and install it again ... at last I bought the original Sims 3
