I don't get why people think Narnia and Harry Potter are worse than Lord of the Rings. They are all equally good, just in different ways. LOTR is awesome because of all the danger and I just love all the characters. Narnia is good because it is lighter and has all the New Testament references. Maybe they wanted to encourage Gandalf fans to watch the second LOTR movie. Those fans may have lost heart when they saw Gandalf fall off the cliff in the first movie. I think it wasn't a really good idea to include the spoiler about Gandalf in this trailer, though. If Gandalf fans were deadset on finding out if Gandalf were alive or not, they could have easily watched teasers.

It's genius. They added things that weren't in the books and it made the movies even more awesome. This is my favorite out of the 3. I went to a LotR Marathon and when it came to the part were Legolas is going down the stairs on the shield almost everyone (almost 100) stood up and started cheering and clapping. Definitely the best movies ever!
