My beautiful Tyson, an Airedale we were lucky to get from a rescue organization died suddenly on Dec 22 and we are heart broken. He was just 5 and a half and we had only had him for three and a half years. I needed an Airedale "fix" and found your videos. Thank you for posting them. I miss my Tyson.

I just love your videos and like everyone else just marvel at the lovely way your little boy and girls interact! I grew up with an airedale who was fairly aloof but full of personality. My husband and I are planning on getting one soon ish and I just wondered: any tips for harmonious airedale/ small people living?

We have an airedoodle yearling...so that comment below about extra smarts with poodles makes us wary! The window wiper we definitely need...both sides of the back door/deck area need constant attention from Ptolemy!

Can your son tell the difference between the two dogs? From the videos they look very similar in size and markings. So cute. I've never seen an Airedale in person but the seem to be such sweeties and so does your son!

@lbr218 hello. Yes he can indeed tell Molly & Gertrude apart, even from a long way away. Sometimes he even corrects us if we say the wrong name....! They do look similar but to us they are totally different. Airedales are very good natured and funny dogs - never a dull day!

Thanks for putting such love and care into these videos, and for letting us see the wonderful capacity Airedales have for babysitting. You've clearly also raised your son gently and wisely, because he is gentle and kind with the dogs, evidence of good example on a daily basis...!! best of luck and please keep posting when you can manage it. I miss my Airedale, Buster, who died in September. They are the best dogs, loyal and funny to the end.

great clip... airedales are great with kids. they will protect that kid with their lives without ever thinking about it. few dogs are smarter than airedales... poodles, border collies... that's about it.

This is so precious! I think it's wonderful how your son interacts so sweetly with the dogs and they are so very tolerant and interested in what he is doing.

I am pregnant with my first baby and I have an Airedale. People keep asking me if I think he will be ok with the new baby. I think he will do well.
