I love this game so much. It was my first game on the n64 in like 1997. I just popped it in like a few weeks ago (2010) and beat adventure mode in one sitting.

did anyone else play this game through without realizing you got an even faster boost when you let go of the gas button right before the speed boosts???? me and my friends played this game during college this year and seriously spent hours playing the levels over and over until we got inhumanly good at them... at least the music was catchy, otherwise theres a good chance i would have gone crazy and devoured my own soul. This game. So great. I think that if the races had more laps, or longer courses, more courses, more items(?), or the AI was harder. . This would be the greatest racing game ever. That's the only reason I won't play anymore. And yet, I couldn't get enough of it in my younger days.
