  • He was the head AIDS doc at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, California. CBS-TV doesn't pay for interviews and he has no financial interest in the drug.

  • 12 years. More current research on the drug is described in "Point of Fear" on this channel. Typically, it takes 20 years for a breakthrough drug to get to market.
