I could see if you're dating someone, but being in the tub with your friends (your cousin and your cousin's friend) seems a little weird to me. The whole thing stems from the way western society has advanced: In countries like England, the US, etc, we have become obsessed with cleanliness and being civilised as we define it. As such, displaying one's body has become social taboo, where as in other countires it has not, such as Japan, Finland, African nations, etc

For example, in a normal japanese family is quite reallly common that the parents share the bath tub with their children until they are ten years old approximately.

Also, there is the fact that some people must go to public baths because there isn't any at their flat.
