  • I want to get back into this.. But I just don't have time anymore. ;( I got stuck at around 30 average and the more and more hours I put in, I got diminishing returns. So i gave up.

  • I am a total Roux beginner, should i use fixed centres?

BTW i avg 15 sec with CFOP

  • @cubing222 yes if you think that your f2l roots are taking over your solves. yes if you feel that you cannot track fast enough.

  • Do you place DR first? It looks like it... And I remember you saying that wasn't recommended. I'm asking because I do it too but I don't know if it's really a big disadvantage...

  • @5BLD if I really don't know what to do then yes. if I can see the block more then I don't

  • I don't use fixed colours either but I scramble to 'add to the previous scramble'. But I think your way is better for ease of reconstruction.

  • why do you bother solving the whole cube after the blocks if you are only timing blocks?

the scramble for the blocks is the same

  • @xabu9001 Because I don't use fixed colors?

  • How many waffles can you fit into a cube?

    7

  • Ooh very nice. Beat me by like .2. I'll give it another go later as I know I can do much better...
