  • Man... That show as cheezy to me... Even as a kid.

But DAMN she had one hell of a stage presence.

There's a slight offset of the audio from the video here... But I honestly don't think I could tell whether or not she was actually singing here.

I would believe that she is. She always had an AMAZING voice and could clearly carry her own anyway.

  • OMG This brings back such memories! I LOVED this show when I was a kid and it was only good for me when Martika and Ryan Lambert were on. She totally killed this song just a good as Teri Nunn!

  • @chaopantheist care to explain it?

  • This is my fav Martika Cover! She rocks this!

  • @chaopantheist The only lyrics outlawed on the show were those that were *overtly* sexual. Anything else got passed even if, perhaps, it might not have been appropriate for kids to be singing it.

  • I like them al but man...ya have to admit...Martika has so much stage presence... She can dance, act, songwriter, sing.....she is way multi-talented...

  • @chaopantheist I thought it was about a carnival?

  • wow she ROCKED it even then!!! Go Martika aka Marta Marrero (that was her birth name)

  • The group BERLIN..

  • very good!

  • Only cover of this song done right!!

  • is it the same martika that sang toy soldiers?

  • yes it is

  • Mario is on the Drums... out of focus but you tell its him

  • where the hell is LOPEZ? es the the one next to FERGIE? The one with the bass?

Lopez was doing weights by this time ! LOL

  • He's the one playing the drums XD

  • @gastonytHD He's the drummer.

  • i use to watch this stuff in the 80's ..wow what memories.

  • Martika...what a talent.

  • These kids didn't even make half an effort to mime playing the correct music.

  • Who gives a shit about pretending to play the instruments when you have that much charisma and stage presence, and that amazing VOICE?! Martika is absolutely exhilirating to watch and listen to. Amazing cover by a 14 year old girl!!! :) FEROSH!!

  • Fapped.

  • You too?

  • Martika always had a stage presents about her that you don't see to much of anymore. She has so much energy when she sings.

  • ok first off martikas awsome along with the rest of the kid inc.ers and they are lip syncing to there own voices sorry just hate when i tell people i like them and they say they lip synced. anyways i was wondering if anyone can tell me the song gloria sang to the kid, while the kid was in jail in an old west kids inc show?

  • no one is to blame by howard jones

  • That girl sung the heck out of that song. LOL

  • one of my favs!

  • Wow, I forgot I made this clip a long time ago. hahaha

  • yo como fan de su musica ochentera fan de martika considero que fue una buena cantante con mucho talento ahora que paso de moda pero su voz es un genial 5 stars for her!!1

  • I kind of like this version more then the original by Berlin.

  • NO WAY !!! Fergie was in this too!!

was this a show for famous kids or something ?

  • From wikipedia:

From 1984 to 1989, she spent summers performing chart hits on the TV show Kids Incorporated.

  • If Stacy Ferguson is in this video, I can't figure out who she is. Martika is pretty obvious.

  • Stacy is to the left of Martika in All RED! Blonde hair in pony tail. Check the face!

  • What a truly awesome song and performance! Martika was born to be on the stage! What an amazing singer and performer at the ripe old age of 15!! Show me another teen who can do that with such raw talent! This was an amazing show and this was an iconic moment for Martika as Gloria on KIDS INC!

  • I have been waiting to see this for so long...thanks
