If you miss your walk with Christ then there is no gap between you and him. there is probably a voice in your head that's making you believe lies. Don't listen to those voices listen to him. Pray and ask him to guide you, if this continues just get someone to pray with you. Don't under estimate the power of prayer. Another way you can tackle this is to hang out with Christians it might take time but before you know it your walk with Christ is beginning to strengthen.

Thanks for your message. I can play electric but i don't play it often. I think that's characteristic of alot of musicians. 'up and down emotions'. Making sure that God is glorified regardless of your emotional state is so incredibly important. In many of David's psalms in the Bible, he felt down.. not in his music.. but he wrote psalms about it!

Try not to immerse yourself too heavily into really difficult riffs. If your desire is to be a worshipper, start simple with some basic chord progressions. Get them down, then you can move on. That's my advice! I get extremely frustrated songwriting.. i'm particularly hard on myself in those times! I hope what i've said has helped you in some way. God bless!
