@eXist2048 the hand is tracked by the 2 wiimotes,

you can see them on the sides, they are each surrounded by a ring of IR lights.

What you are seeing on the display is the detected position of the hand (detected via the wiimotes), but the user is also probably "feeling" sensations from the ultrasonic transducer array below - the big black thing. Unfortunately such things as touch don't translate well onto video.
