I would imagine that you are on the right track, but also that the system of profiling with social sercurity numbers is more complicated. Bit of research might lead us to figure it out though. Also the red numbers on the back of your card can be used to pay bills. Look into it, if you dare.

Additionally, you did not receive your number in the South (Louisiana, all the way to Maryland), or in the mountain states (colorado, montana, Nebraska, and westward, sans California after 1988 and Washington (before 1988). Unless you are from Alaska. In Wyoming and Montana, it is possible, but not likely. In Pennsylvannia, New York, and many of the northern states, the middle two digits of a 20-something is likely between 62-78. People from Illinois in this age group have digits around 80
