@thebeststuntboy No white baseplates were used - I used heaps of 2x2 white plates for the snow. They were raised up by one brick so I could do all the recessed footprints and crash detail.

The Hoth Base in the Visual Dictionary was built by Mark Borlase , and is quite different (and larger) than this one) If you looked closer, you would see many many differences between the 2. For example, his AT-AT's are custom made, his snowfield is made of tiles rather than plates, and he has a roof over the base itself with illuminated LEDS hanging from the ceiling. Do your research first before slagging someone off.
