Well I don't live in Alberta, but I'm positive the feed is fine over there. Ladd didn't make and effort to get out of the way. He allowed Leopold to shove him into Kiprusoff and just let himself coast into him. Unless Ladd is really weak in front of the net, he shouldn't have crashed into Kipper like that.

Detroit was up 2-0 in 2007. Calgary won both home games to tie it up. The thing is Detroit wrecked Calgary at the Joe Louis Arena in those first two games.

Calgary came out strong in the first period both games against the Hawks. They've been getting out coached. Keenan was dumb in game one and I can't help but think game two was also a result of something he did.

Also, Pittsburgh was outplaying Philly and won game one and two. Today they lost in game three because of the home ice.

As an objective observer:

Flames fans are likely furious because of the inconsistencies of Furlatt. A goal was waved off by Furlatt in the regular season when a player was barely pushed in to the crease. Same ref, same rule, different call.

That goal should not have been allowed

Yeah that may have been true, but you can't say that the flames wouldn't have done the same thing or any team at that. Take advantage of the situation right. I'm not sure why he pushed him to start with, its the flames players fault. Should have never touched him and gave him that chance.

Sorry, Flame fans. If the ref had called that it would have been outrageous. Nobody likes to be scored on, but watching it in real time or in slow motion, it looks the same:

Ladd begins a stopping motion before he is bumped. The extra distance he travels is appropriate to the contact he receives. The bump into Kipper is just that a "bump"--granted it was more than enough to throw him, but there is no way a video review would have overturned that call.

Now the clock on the screen is usally on a slight delay in most of these games. So you never know. I've caught it a few times were the end of the period buzzer would go off and there would still be like a secound in a half still ticking away on the clock. But I'm sure they go and review the goal in toronto after the goal is scored to see the exact time. But I can't believe the fastest goal scored in over time was against the Flames as well.

and if the stupid time-keepers had stopped the clock right away it would have been 11 seconds, tying for the 2nd fastest OT goal in the NHL playoffs

Ladd is all over Kiprusoff on this shot. Totally took him out of the play by embellishing a little nudge from Leopold. He could have easily avoided hitting Kipper. This same referee who allowed this goal, Eric Furlatt, disallowed a Calgary goal a few weeks ago simply because Curtis Glencross' heel was in the crease. He wasn't even touching the goalie, or totally taking him out of the play like Ladd was here. Total BS!

First off, you're right, if you win a faceoff, and the puck ends up in your net 12 seconds later, it is your fault. Secondly, it was Leopold that made the crappy pass not Iginla, and finally, Andrew Ladd shouldn't have been in the crease. He made no effort to avoid Kiprusoff, and Havlat shouldn't have been awarded with a goal. I know, the Flames never should have gotten into a situation like that 12 seconds into overtime, but that goal was a joke.

Leopold made two blunders in OT....1) giving the puck away and 2) pushing, ya that's right, pushing Ladd into Kipper to cause the game winner. Ladd didn't have time to avoid Kipper.

AND, Cammalleri made a HUGE mistake in the third when he elbowed Havlat in a face off pissing him off royally and causing him to score the tying goal.
