Why are people moaning about this performance. You see the problem is people have the original song etched into their brains - Live versions are inevitably different, thsi is an accoustic version and he sings it well. Got a better voice than many of his contemporaries that are half his age. A bit husky - so what his 55, still in tune thats all that matters.

Sure, not the most flattering performance but it is brave to attempt an epic like this in such clinical conditions.

I just have a question for you that think Midge's voice was awful..why would u want a reunion of this AWESOME band if u r just gonna rip apart their performances??? Thats just harsh...radio performances like that are known for their crap sound occasionally..look at Level 42 on SNL..they were crap, but then performed so perfect on the rest of their tour...so, give the man a break..I would LOVE see them back together and Midge will rock!!! He is the man!!!

Aww people..close mic situation, very dry sound, you will get every little gruff bit of vocal, its really under the microscope! Get those vocals and instruments all together in the proper environment and see how the wee man wails!!!
