=P the joker used to be under the title of the red hood but when he met with batman in a chemical facility he fell into the chemicals , batman thought he was dead , but he wasnt and that is why the joker is crazy, ugly and has an obsession for the batman , and this is the one they used in the original detective comics :D hope it helped
