it looks like it goes really slow in this video but trust me, it's fast! probably one of the best rides in the whole disney world. I went on twice! Loved it
@carmellyme If your looking for real thrills, then universal studios is probably where you want to go, they have more "Thrill rides" But Disney world also has several thrill rides, but most of them are geared more towards younger kids, so its a little less "thrill". The magic in disney world is amazing, but universal studios is the place to go for thrills.
I love how at first everyone's always like, "Oh this isnt so bad," but then at 1:29 everyones like "HOLY SHIT ITS GOING BACKWARDS" :) rly good ride if it can take u by surprise like that

@SingleRiderMitch I went this summer on my family trip to Florida. Yea the coasters were fun but, eh. It was all alright. Nothing different from the dozens of other amusement parks Ive been to in the past, as I previously mentioned.
Disney's appeal is for children and they get most of their thrills out of scenery and theme design rather than intense scares and extreme track layouts. Cedar Point is the best park for roller coasters, but Disney is still a fantastic time.
@SingleRiderMitch i disagree with you on certain points such as disney parks are more made for families and kids not for thrill seekers. kids never find them boring but a lot of adults find it a waste but they do it for their kids. yes there are parks with MUCH better coasters but disney relies more on themeing which has major disadvantages. yes its definently not the best park but its great for what its meant for. making kids happy.
P.s the mountain is 200 feet the track on goes 140 feet.
@SingleRiderMitch exactly thats basically the only reason i go to amusement parks is for the roller coasters, if it has a giga or strata coaster but with absolutely no scenery at all, im still gonna go every year!
it seems like a really cool coaster! i like how it changes and goes into reverse, and seeing the tracks all ripped up. The only thing is (i heard) this coaster coast 100m to build. With that kind of money being spent on a roller coaster i would rather have four Intamin (or B&M) Thrill Mega Hyper coasters. Millenium force at Cedar point cause 25m (you could have built four of them for the price of everest) But thats just me i am quite the hard core Adrenaline junkie, nice additon to disney tho!

@SingleRiderMitch I went this summer on my family trip to Florida. Yea the coasters were fun but, eh. It was all alright. Nothing different from the dozens of other amusement parks Ive been to in the past, as I previously mentioned.

Disney's appeal is for children and they get most of their thrills out of scenery and theme design rather than intense scares and extreme track layouts. Cedar Point is the best park for roller coasters, but Disney is still a fantastic time.

@SingleRiderMitch i disagree with you on certain points such as disney parks are more made for families and kids not for thrill seekers. kids never find them boring but a lot of adults find it a waste but they do it for their kids. yes there are parks with MUCH better coasters but disney relies more on themeing which has major disadvantages. yes its definently not the best park but its great for what its meant for. making kids happy.
P.s the mountain is 200 feet the track on goes 140 feet.

@SingleRiderMitch exactly thats basically the only reason i go to amusement parks is for the roller coasters, if it has a giga or strata coaster but with absolutely no scenery at all, im still gonna go every year!

it seems like a really cool coaster! i like how it changes and goes into reverse, and seeing the tracks all ripped up. The only thing is (i heard) this coaster coast 100m to build. With that kind of money being spent on a roller coaster i would rather have four Intamin (or B&M) Thrill Mega Hyper coasters. Millenium force at Cedar point cause 25m (you could have built four of them for the price of everest) But thats just me i am quite the hard core Adrenaline junkie, nice additon to disney tho!

TIP: DO NOT GO ON THIS WHEN YOU ARE VERY HUNGRY. lol my sister forced me to go on even though i was VERY hungry. i felt soooooooooo bad afterwards. make sure you DONT go on this ride on an empty stomach. ITS SO FUN THOUGH :D
