  • dude thank you so much this was so helpful

  • whic is that "one" algortihm?? 06:15 ??????????

  • @TheCRAGIES The 15 move one

  • HOW TO SOLVE FIRST 3 LAYERS NOW!!!!!!! PLEEEEAAAASEEEE

  • @imub3rl33t as a 3x3 chek his tutorial for that...

  • Can you show how to do the 3x3 on a 4x4? Because whenever I try to solve the middle 3 layers, the pieces only replace eachother for the first 2 layers.

  • your so dumb and stupid my butt can make a better video then this

  • it SUCKS!!

  • i can't figure out how to orient the corners, it is the last step and then i will have it! do i just use the algorithm RI DI R D, just like you solve the 3x3 then rotate the top and do it for each corner and it magically ends up all solved? help

  • If anyone can answer this i would really appreciate it... when you are pairing up edges, what if the only random edge available is the exact same as the other random edge, for example on my cube i have red yellow and red orange and i also have red yellow and red orange on the other random edge that i have so basicly what i have to do is replace it but how?

  • disregard my last comment, I solved it

  • @MrStickmanSteve hi i was wondering, how did u solve it because the same thing happened to me

  • @davnar62659901 well, after being frustrated with it, I tried to solve it again, only this time I got lucky and the edge pieces were in the right spots, so I was able to solve it. It doesnt happen all the time, and I dont want to have to mix it up again just to solve it. Im pretty sure one of the algorithms he teaches you for the last layer will help.

  • @MrStickmanSteve thank u soo much

  • I am really close to solving this (Thanks pi!). But however, as I solve it like a 3x3 (using the method my Dad taught me), I get to a point where the green and red edge pieces on the yellow side are swapped, and the yellow isnt facing up. The 3x3 method wont solve them.

  • What to do if yellow center peace cracks super glue not working

  • Nvm I did it

  • I get to the last layer then u lost me

  • Thanks dude, helps a lot.

  • @MeMyselfAndPi you can use the algorithm used on the 3x3 to find the corners, and if there's a corner in the wrong place, you can move R down and then move the bottom either way.

  • the one in which you use 15 moves is good but found to do the same in just 4 moves

  • @mangootable what is it?

  • Ok thank you so much but is Ri Di R D the algirithm to flip thr last ciner peices the correct way?? I cant seem to get it

  • thanks bro i nowed how to solf the 4*4 but i was forgot how to flip the echepises! :)

  • thanks

  • I keep dropping my damn 4x4 rubiks cube on my keyboard!

  • @arisStarCraft It is the original corner placement algorithm (the 8 move long one). U R Ui Li U Ri Ui L.

  • at 8:15 what is the algorithm??? please respond ty

  • |. How??

  • Yesterday i got one for free! ;))))!!

  • Take it from someone who has a cube collection of 14 and growing. Don't expect to solve it on the first try. At all. Ever. Expect that on the last step, you'll mess everything up. Expect that you'll mix up all your centers at the last minute. Expect that you'll get a pop half way through and have to rebuild your cube and start completely over. This is a video, which means you can pause it and re-watch parts. It's not the instructor's fault if you're just new at it. It takes time. Don't give up.

  • too fast

  • Comment removed

  • @KOPO101 you solve it like a 3x3 by moving the outer parts rather than anything else the same way you solve a 3x3

Yes you do use the same algorithms

  • very good explanation... cheers dude :D

  • every time i get all my white cubbies together then i try going a different color it does not work

  • What do you mean solve it like a 3x3?

  • thanks to this video i can solve my 4x4 very easily now

  • i am still to get my 4x4, and 5x5 but this looks very difficult! would you say it is difficult or not really?

  • That was so so so amazing. Thank you so much you absolute legend!

  • what are the u's, R's and F's in the algortihms?

  • @shoppsterify u's are "up" (the top layer) R's the right layer (in his video the 2 right layers)and F's the front layer

  • Best rubik's cube tutorials. Good job :D

  • why is all of my corners swapped?

  • Halo takes alot of time

  • i gave up so i took it apart and put it back together.

  • Great guide

  • can you make a video when you are solving the 3X3 while holding your breathe under water . thank you <3

  • thank you memyselfandpi your video helped me alot<33!!!

  • i've always had a 3x3 and recently got a megaminx and a quadcube for christmas, then a friend gave me her 4x4 and i absolutely love it, just the amount of intuition required, i watched the video part 1 and got the understanding of the cube and managed to make it appear as though it was a wrapped present except for two corner pieces, the 4x4 is possibly the best toy i could have ever gotten

  • New highscore

    7 mins! :)

  • and now you can solve it like a 3x3...

    o_0

*searches youtube; how to solve a 3x3*

  • parrity is not a dick anymore!!! i can solve it now!!!! thank you very much

  • all yu guys complaining, yu hit pause wen yu need time, he explains just about every scenario, and prob explains the best in my opinion... good dude... js

  • The best!

  • @morskYY thats what the pause button is for

  • GAH i hate this, i realy really realllyyyyy need help. Whenever i go to solve it as a 3x3, when i put corners in, they're flipped. For example, if black is my cross side, and i have the black orange blue piece, when i put the corner in, the orange is on the blue side and the blue is on the orange. PLEASE HELP!!!!

  • @JimPickensOiMate its because you have to line up the edges with the centers when making the cross

  • @JimPickensOiMate yes that happend to me too but then i just unsolved it adn tried again, then it worked :/ dont know why but it's very annoying.

  • @JimPickensOiMate this happened to me, it had to do with the colored sides not being in the right orientation (correctly accross from eachover, just on the wrong side)

  • @JimPickensOiMate did you make sure the centers were positioned properly i.e. white, blue on top and red on the side?

  • @JimPickensOiMate This means that you did not orient the center correctly.

  • @JimPickensOiMate You got to remeber the orientation of the centers, I do: green down, blue up, white front, yellow back, red right, orange/purple left. This way it is always correct

  • @JimPickensOiMate You didn't put the centers on the right sides.

  • @JimPickensOiMate In your example, how you could fix it without messing up the edges, you would need to have the orange facing you and with blue as your upper face,(or other way around), and do the algorithm 2Rr 2U 2Rri 2Lli 2U 2Ll.

  • @JimPickensOiMate you have maybe flipped a corner...have you ever opend the cube?

  • @JimPickensOiMate Wrong color scheme. Make sure you have the standard color scheme for your cube.

  • IM STILL CONFUSED!

  • @10:17 you can see the corners are in an impossible to solve state

  • URGH! My paired edges keep separating!

  • Your a fucking cunt faggot prick bellend twat fanny that sucks massive donkey dick slow the fuck down you prick.

P.S you talk like a fucking idiot.

  • Joeyyarwic I have to agree with u its fucking funny

  • You sound and look like a complete faggot but, I will admit, I can now solve my 4 by 4 because of you

  • On one of those you harmed one but put it back together

  • thnx man

  • GUYS, LISTEN! I know how to ski[ the whole parity thing! Just use the 3x3x3 algarithim if you encounter parity. the algorathim: R, Ui, L, U, Ri, Ui, L. It works, and it totally skips the parity!

  • Ah can anyone help me? i can't figure out how to get the corners oriented correctly... :( it would mean a lot if someone helped me!

  • @ThePoptart206 I can get everything and get the cubes in the right spot but i can't figure out how to orient them in the right way.

  • @ThePoptart206 just look at the end of the 3x3x3 tutorial. use the same for the 4x4x4. :)

  • holy crap i got a 4x4 for xmas and a 5x5 and luckilly i watched this vid before i got it cuz my dad mixed both of them up and i had to solve BOTH of them within a week before i could get resources and i solved both of them in less than a day. haha dad. thanks m.m.&pi

  • cheers dude you really helped, after getting all the edge pieces together i just solved it like a 3x3, yeh it may take longer but it is much more simpler :) a great thanks anyway :)

  • Thanks!

  • Cheers mate, I got a 4x; for Xmas and u helped me solve it :)

  • I got a 4x4 for christmas, thanks for the tutorio without you I would not be able to solve it!

  • i also got a 4x4 for christmas

  • I also got it for an Xmas gift

  • i got a 4x4 and a 5x5 for xmas now i know solve both now

  • Thanks man!!! I just got a 4x4 for Xmas and I can already solve it!!

  • Thank you so much! Liked!

  • The first time I saw a 4X4 i thought u just pair up and solve like a 2X2

  • I need help. I have only 1 edge left on my Down face and Im trying to move 2 adjacent edges pieces. Everytime I do, a new pair pops up!

  • how do you get it from 4:52 to 5:00, thats the part im stuck on ya flop

  • i get the problem of a piece falling out after every 2 moves -.- cheap piece of crap

  • i got a problem where i keep getting the colors for the last layer messed up i have the edge colors ajasont to each other (idk if you understand what i mean)

  • and where dafack is the flipping algorithm??

  • @MeMyselfAndPi when i try to orientate the last corner. it makes me go back to where i start solving the 3x3 again i havnt solved it yet and ive gone back like 10 times. please help

    !

  • Hey!!! I did it!! thanks buddy! I think I got a little lucky on the last side, but I still did it!

  • Hey what do i need to do when i have only two random edges in a wholo 4x4 cube!????

  • Comment removed

  • You orient the coners same as on a 3x3x3

  • Shengshou da best

  • how do u orient the corners please reply i subscribed 6 times to u

  • how do u orient the corners

  • parrity is a dick

  • @1997benny amen

  • That was great man, thanks for the tutorial!

  • and its srcambled 7:28

  • finally got the hang of it. thanks man. nice tutorials

  • omg can u slow down? u fucked up my cube now for 20 times ^^

  • get a lalan its so much better

  • after that part where you put all the edges part together you can do it like the 3x3 parity is just some crazy and long useless algo trust me do it like the 3x3 and it will work i never did any parity algo and its working sometime you have to repeat it until you have the good pieaces in place but you dont have to break ur head to learn the parity algo USELESS guys if you have some question email me ;)

  • Hi, can anybody HELP me? When i am trying to get the Edge pieces in the right position, there are, in the end, two pairs of edge pieces Side by Side; what can i do???

  • @TheLibertyShadow if the edge pieces are side by side try doing the algorithm R Fi U Ri F

If the edge pieces are across do the algorithm r2 U2 r2 Uu2 U2.

Make sure to hold a solved side on the right!!! Once you do it, just do the regular algorithm. Hope this helps :)

  • Comment removed

  • That cube looks sad :(

  • ChMystet12 u probably have your middle pieces mixed up even if (blue green) (red orange) (white yellow) r opposite they may not be lined up right if you hold the blue side in your right hand red should be your front and white should be your top

  • How come when i pair the corners for the first side llike on the first side, the corners are right but the orientation is wrong?

  • i givvve up soooo fuckingg confusing

  • @psychobear10 NoONE GiVeS Up.... ExEpT YoU

  • I did those 15 moves and my cube was totally scrambled again.... But thanks, your tutorial really helps

  • I tried and tried and then i completed. Thanks Me, Myself and pi

  • Slow the hell down on the 15 move one...dam

  • 10:15: Fail corner orientation

  • @jameslam19 How?

  • @TheChampion613 you can not solve the 4x4 rubik's cube on 10:16 because it will result as 1 corner unorientationed which is impossible to solve (other than taking it apart or peeling the stickers)

  • so what is the flipping alghorithm?

  • 3times now

  • with the 15 moves algorithm i meesed the cube up again

  • I know some way shorter algorithms for you all. MSG me for them.

  • Awesome vid! Thanks! I've been doing the 3x3 for years and since I'm in Hungary right now I thought I had to buy a new cube so why not the 4x4 :)

  • Thanks

  • Thanks

  • did algorythem.."and as you can see it flipped the edges out"

    it screwed up everything actually

    but close enough

  • VERY nice tutorial man. This really helped me out, I appreciate it. I liked how you showed us every possible position we could be in and how to get out of it.

  • Thanks!!!!!!!!!!! Now i Can do it!

  • stop going so fast

  • i recomemed buying the lanlan 4x4 in stead of the rubiks revenge

  • did anyone else on the 15 move long one look at it at the end and say, "YES! I didn't fail at life!!!"

  • Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what's the flipping algorithin

  • what cube is that?

  • THRAWST was first

  • strindell 4:12

  • On the part where you are trying to switch the two edges on the final layer (after they are all facing blue side up), would it be easier to just do the same thing you do on a normal 3x3? The R U R' U R U2 R'?

  • @leonhardtz5 its called a parady... search that on the youtube search bar.

  • not the best tutorial because you do the steps way too fast

  • Great Video! It helped a lot. i got everything including the right placement for the final 4 corners but i dont know how to put them right side up... anyone can give me the algorithm?? The one i use for the 3x3x3 doesnt work (Ri Di R D) and then when the corner is in the right place i do Ui to chang the corner i want then repeat (Ri Di R D).

  • Comment removed

  • how do you fix the Parity on solving it like a 3x3 to finish the second part

  • Man please slower!!! i cant follow you

  • When he fast forwards near the end,

Feliks Zemdegs does that in slow motion

    helpful video though

  • the algorithm that flips those edge pieces is wrong i tried it like 15 times and it doesn't work

  • @cheezy811 um mabe you did it wrong that happened to me and i did it and i realize i did it wrong the whole time

  • 5:38-6:01 confused the shit out of me

  • I only watched this video to figure out the parrity. I'll try to make my own tutorial which uses my methods, and IMO, are a lot easier and creates a better safety barrier.

  • I just lost my 4x4 virginity.

  • slow down

  • watching this gives me a headache...

  • to me the first 3x3 tutorial was easier than following this one with all the pictures :)

  • Everytime I've done the 15 move algorithm it never goes to where you got your cube, it always rearranges the centers. And I always make sure I've done the moves that you show and I wrote down all the algrorithms and labeled when to use them. What am I doing wrong?

  • @gabrielgnzlz By me it' s the same problem :-S

  • @BraveBlackLion What do you mean?

  • @gabrielgnzlz I mean are you Algormithmes with the clockwise or inverted to the clockwise? Sry for my English.

  • @gabrielgnzlz Because then the 15 move algorithm goes right :)

  • @BraveBlackLion Goes right?! I'm still confused, but I just work around it and use a degde parity algorithm now and I solve it

  • Now that I watched the whole thing I understand what I got wrong! Thanks for explaining everything so clearly!!!

  • Thank u so much!!

  • i do the flipping alg like you show it, but ill that happens is i get 2 pairs broken instead of the last one fixed

  • I think I did somthing wrong two of my edges are in the opposite places and flipped -____-'

  • i tried 3 times the flippin' alg and none of them were correct!

  • OMG ur a really great instructor. I thought there was no way I was going to learn this, but I completed it in about 3 hours. Thanks a bunch man. Keep up the awesome videos.
