For a while I had thought that this set meant the return of the D&D Miniatures Game. Oh well, a man can still hope... Thanks for the video, Lynx! :)

@neuicon There is a fan group comprised of the old playtesters of the miniatures game, that produce their own downloadable cards for the latest minis sets. They are called the DDM Guild. Though it does take them awhile for them to put out a card set after a new minis set is released.

The longer duration videos are very beneficial to your kind of review.

As to the miniatures shown, they look good, with the cavalry miniature particularly so.

I might actually buy one or more of this booster set.

@owningnewbs There is no learning anymore, WotC no longer supports DDM, all the new minis they're releasing are only for use within the D&D game itself.

@owningnewbs The D&D RPG is pretty complex to learn, lots of rulebooks to read.

@owningnewbs Ohhh then the miniatures should be useful to you :). They now come with stat cards only for the RPG. Although it is D&D 4th Edition.
