They think Kelly'd just win from his power and willingness to engage with his punches thrown, but he NEVER faced someone like Hopkins, who's ONLY had problems against guys FASTER than him (Jones and Taylor). KO'ing Pavlik would require Hopkins to take a risk, so we know that option is out; and I don't see how he is going to dominate Pavlik landing 10 punches a round. Even if Hopkins gets the better of a competitive fight, the HBO controlled judges are still going to give it to Pavlik.

I think if Taylor has talent in anything it's mental toughness. When he talks he sounds a little strange minded but he didn't let Hopkins or Wright frustrate him which is something Mosley, Trinidad, Delahoya, and Tarver couldn't do. He's got that kind of toughness "The Brown Bomber" Joe Louis had.

The first 5 rds are the fight. If Taylor lands his best power shots and they don't hurt Pavlik just like Miranda did it is OVER. Taylor lacks mental toughness IMO as well.

Taylor lacks one thing and that is power. Do you really think he hits harder than Miranda? Pavlik took everything Miranda through well. In the first 3 rds when Taylor hits Pavlik if it doesn't hurt Pavlik. It is OVER.

Taylor doesnt lack power...he just doesnt have the 1 punch power pavlik has but makes up for it with the speed he has. but he is able to put punches and combinations together more fluently then pavlick.

Power? What power? In the fights that everyone claims proves he's the real champ, he hasn't had any power, which leads you to believe that the KO's he does have were against weak fighters. No, I don't think Taylor has any power. Miranda hits harder than Taylor and Pavlik took that well. Pavlik has nothing to worry about from Taylor's "Power".

By TKO?? If Taylor does win, and I say "if", it'll be by decision. Taylor doesn't have the punching power to stop a big middle weight. I'll agree that he's fast and maybe a little more skilled, but if he doesn't use it and tries to mix it up he'll get dropped hard.
