well, for me..what is the effects of a night shift.. psychologically,i think it's only on our mind.i think its better than going to abroad, work as a DH, without knowing what's gonna happen to you..jobs are coming here in the Philippines,why go to abroad..when opportunity is coming in your way..

it was not good,coz FIlipino call center agents are way to flashy on the PHONE! they pretend too much like they are also americans..I'm a filipino living here in the states-everytime i need an online by phone tech-support or sales,i spoke mostly of my FELLOW filipinos agents..one ODD experienced i had with them,an agents sounds so filipino and asked if he is my kabayan-he answered no and said he is an american taking the phone call from New England..wtf! SOCIAL CLIMBER illusionating as american!

Dude, it's a company protocol not to mention the location of the call center and the agent you talked to was just doing his job... The protocol requires us to appear/sound "american" to our american customers. It's actually the managers saying "tell them you're coming from Little Rock, Arkansas, or some other far-flung areas of the States!" If you watched Slumdog Millionaire,u can see that the agents there were also being trained to sound as if they are Americans/British...

Yeah, but that was 2 years ago. ive seen a lot of outsourcing companies that involves outbound.but after 2007 i only saw a few companies, most specially in the jobfair.
